Theoretically, this cushioning performance can be determined to be optimal considering the occupant's body shape, weight, and other factors, but in reality, it is designed to fit a standard body shape, so it is not practical in practice. It is not necessarily possible to provide ideal cushioning performance to all occupants who have different body shapes and weights. As a result, for some people, the seats felt hard and caused pain, such as body aches, while for others, the cushions were too soft, causing fatigue.

In the seat of the present invention, one end of a group of suspension springs is attached to each opposite side of a substantially rectangular seat frame, and a seat portion or a backrest portion of the seat is provided between each other end of both spring groups. By suspending and supporting the elastic member to be placed in the center, the seat can have dual elasticity of the elasticity of the central elastic member, which has different characteristics from the suspension spring, and the elasticity of the group of suspension springs. , a rigid suspension structure is provided for the central elastic member, and if necessary, this rigid suspension structure is operated to seal the elasticity of the suspension spring group and only the elasticity of the central elastic member is activated, or a rigid suspension structure is provided. It is designed to release the body's functions and utilize the dual elasticity described above.

The rigid suspension structure is disposed between the seat frame and the central elastic member under the suspension spring group or at a location where the suspension spring group is not disposed, and has one end connected to the seat frame. A rigid plate-like member is pivotally supported on the side and has its other end hooked to the side of the central elastic member, and the plate-like member engages with and separates from the plate-like member or frame so as to prevent pivoting of the plate-like member. It consists of a rotatable stopper member.

When the pivoting is prevented, the plate member becomes a member that rigidly suspends the central elastic member from the frame, and the cushioning performance of the seat is carried only by the central elastic member, so that the seat exhibits a stiff cushioning property. When the wedging on the plate member is released, the plate member stops or reduces its rigid support to the central elastic member, and the elasticity of the suspension spring group is added to the elasticity of the central elastic member, improving the cushioning properties of the seat. becomes soft.

In this way, the rigid suspension structure consisting of the pivot plate member 7 and the rotation stopper member 15 becomes a rigid support structure for the central elastic member 4 when put in the wedged state as shown in FIG. When the suspension spring 3 is released, the elasticity of the suspension spring 3 is exhibited.
That is, the operating rod 10 can be operated by holding the handle 14.
By turning in one direction (clockwise in FIG. 3), one link piece 12 constituting the stopper member 15 is rotated.
One side edge 12' of is firmly engaged with the back surface of the plate member 7,
The plate member 7 is now wedged. At this time, even if a load (arrow) is applied from above the seat, the rigid suspension structures 7 and 15 are functioning, so the elasticity of the suspension spring 3 is suppressed, and the frame 5 itself cannot move up and down, and the cushion Almost all of the performance depends on the elasticity of the elastic member 4, that is, the elasticity of the wire 16 and the S-shaped spring 17, and the spring constant of the seat becomes high. On the other hand, if the operating rod 10 is rotated counterclockwise to disengage the engagement edge 12' of the link piece 12 from the plate member 7 as shown in FIG. The wedging is released and the elasticity of the suspension spring 3 is restored, so the frame 5 elastically moves up and down in response to the load from above, and the elasticity of the central elastic member 4 is added to this, so that the spring A low constant, that is, a soft cushion performance is exhibited.

In the above description, the group of suspension springs 3 and the rigid suspension structures 7, 15 are installed on the same side of the seat in a vertical relationship, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, in FIG. 1, the three groups of springs can be separately arranged along the left and right sides of the seat frame structure 1, and the rigid suspension structures 7 and 15 can be separately arranged along the front and rear (top and bottom in FIG. 1) sides. In this case, the handle 14 of the operating rod 10 will protrude laterally of the seat.

FIG. 6 shows another embodiment of the stopper member 15. In this case as well, the two link pieces 11a and 12a are used as constituent elements, but one end edge 11a' of the lower link piece 11a is connected to the seat. The difference is that the plate member 7 is wedged by being engaged with the bottom surface of the frame 1.

Other stopper members, although not shown, can be used, for example, by hinged stopper pieces on the bottom of the seat frame, and by pulling forward or backward an operating rod that connects or inserts the stopper pieces, the stopper pieces can be raised up. A structure in which the stopper member is wedged and engaged with the bottom surface of the plate-like member 7 is also possible, and in any case, the stopper member is not limited to what has been described and illustrated above.

Although the above description has been made of adjusting and changing the cushioning performance of the seat, particularly the sitting part, it is clear that the present invention can be applied not only to the sitting part but also to the back part of the seat. This example is shown in the 8th example.
As shown in the figure. A is a sitting part, and b is a backrest part. In FIG. 8, a total of four sets of rigid suspension structures 7 and 15, each of which can be operated independently, are installed on the two sides of the front and back of the sitting part a of the seat, and on the two sides of the top and bottom of the backrest part b. In this way, in addition to adjusting the spring constant of the seat, the seat area a can be adjusted according to the occupant's body shape, weight, etc.
By independently changing the hardness of the front and rear edges of the body and the upper and lower edges of the backrest part b, it is effective to adjust the body pressure distribution. For example, the front edge of the sitting part a is made hard and the rear edge is made soft, the lower edge of the backrest part b is made hard and the upper edge is made soft, or both the front and rear edges of the sitting part a are made hard,
By making the upper and lower edges of the backrest part b soft or by making various other combinations, it is possible to select the most appropriate cushioning performance according to the passenger's preference.

As described above, it is very convenient to provide independent cushion performance adjustment mechanisms on each edge of the seat, but the present invention is not limited to this. The cushion performance adjustment mechanism of the left and right operating rods 10, 10 are linked by one connecting rod, and one handle 1
Of course, it is also possible to adjust the left and right sides simultaneously by the operation in step 4.

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, the spring constant of the seat can be changed at will according to the individual differences in the body shape and weight of the occupant, and the cushioning performance of the seat can be uniformly adjusted over the entire seat surface. Since each part can be adjusted in various ways, passengers can enjoy the optimal cushioning performance according to individual differences and preferences, and there is no need to endure the uniformity of standard cushioning, making vehicle operation more comfortable. It has the effect of making you feel at ease.
