ドラム缶のプラグには大、小の2種類があり、
小プラグの従来製品は第6図に示すようにカツプ

状に曲げ加工したレンチ用部材2を溶接3し、さ
らにプラグ本体1の外側にネジ切り加工4をした
ものであつた。しかしながら従来品ではレンチ用
部材が溶接されているので溶接不良による不良品
がみられたことと、強度が弱いといつた問題点が

周縁にフランジを形成し、さらに又、前記胴部の
外周部にネジ切り加工して最終成品を得るように

以上説明したように本発明は、従来のようにプ
ラグ本体とレンチ用穴部材を溶接したものに比
べ、強度が落ちる溶接工程を無くし、プラグ全体
を1枚のブランクからプレス加工によつて成形し
たから製品強度が優れていることと共に、全工程
の自動化によつて生産性の向上を高め得る効果が
