This unwrapped packaging process is a relatively simple process, and in the past, it was mostly labor-intensive. In addition, some parts of the packaging process may be mechanized, and mechanical work and labor-based work are combined. There were also situations in which semi-packed items that had passed through were temporarily re-stored in warehouses.

First, the item to be packaged is unwrapped using a wider continuous sheet of wrapping paper. In order to carry out this unrolling, it is sufficient to place the article to be packed onto a lifting means formed by, for example, an air cylinder, and this lifting means then moves the article to be packed into a continuous sheet of wrapping paper. The continuous sheet-like wrapping paper is engaged from below and lifted to a predetermined height, so that the continuous sheet-like wrapping paper surrounds the article in a substantially U-shape. If an air cylinder that operates downward is provided opposite to the lifting means, the object to be packed can be compressed and surrounded in a substantially U-shape.

The wrapped continuous sheet-like wrapping paper further completely surrounds the object to be packed, thus forming an unwound part of the wrapping paper around which the object to be packed is wound. The wrapper section is closed to maintain the looped wrapper configuration and separated from the continuous sheet wrapper. The unwound article to be packaged is transferred almost horizontally onto the horizontal table of the folding mechanism and the strapping mechanism. At this time, the folding members to be engaged with the end faces of the object to be packed are respectively retracted to the upper and lower retracted positions so that they do not obstruct the passage of the excess wrapping paper on both sides of the object to be packed. . Then, after the object to be packaged has reached a predetermined position on the horizontal table, the folding member is brought to its original position and is further given the necessary movement for folding. This bending action causes a pair of folding members to be actuated horizontally inward, and another pair of folding members on either side of the string guide member are actuated downward and further below the horizontal table. Furthermore, another pair of bending members is actuated upward. Stringing is performed after the bending is performed. In this series of operations, the operator only has to place the object to be packed onto the lifting means, and even bulky objects can be automatically packed.

Elements are provided symmetrically on both sides of the packaged item 3 (only one element is shown in the figure).
Each element includes a pair of trapezoidal plates 47 that are movable from above to below, trapezoidal horizontal plates 48 and 49 that are movable horizontally from outside to inward, and a pair of round bars that are movable from below to above. These plates consist of 7th, 8th, 9th and 50th plates.
10 air cylinders 51, 52, 53, 54 are connected to the piston rods, respectively. It should be noted that the trapezoidal plate 47 and the round bar 50 are each separated to form a vertical space. A string guide member 56 of the string hooking mechanism 55 is provided so as to cover the space between them in a loop shape in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper. The string hooking mechanism 55 and the string guide member 56 may be of a well-known type that hooks the string in a loop shape. Strap hanging mechanism 5

れらが接触することはない。 The subsequent operations are performed in sequence. A switch (not shown) is turned on. Next, the pair of movable members 31 are moved so as to approach each other in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, and serve as a back plate for the object to be packed 3. When the third cylinder 28 is actuated, the movable member 31, the third plate 27, and the movable body 26 move together to the right while sliding on the first plate 23, and the tip of the object 3 to be packed is stopped. It stops when it hits the pump plate 32. Next, when the first cylinder 20 and the second cylinder 21 are actuated, the third plate 27, the movable body 26, and the first plate 23 rise, and the upper surface of the object to be packed 3 lifts the sheet 34 upward and moves to the second cylinder 21. It hits plate 24. First air cylinder 20
When the air pressure of the second air cylinder 21 is made relatively larger than the air pressure of the second air cylinder 21, the first plate 23 pushes up the second plate 24 while compressing the packaged object 3, and the upper surface of the third plate 27 moves to the movable bottom member. It stops when it becomes flush with the top surface of 35. At this time, the sheet 34 covers the object 3 to be packed in a U-shape. Note that the fourth cylinder 36 is used for the object 3 to be packed.
They are placed sideways from the path of the road, so they never come into contact with each other.

At this time, the object to be packed 3 is prevented from moving to the left by the guide plate 41, and the roller 37 at the top of the bottom member 35 closes the left side of the U-shape of the sheet 34 while closing the remaining U-shaped side of the sheet 34. The roller 37 rotates along the lower surface of the object to be packed 3 and receives it, and the bottom member 35 stops at a position where the lower die 38 and the heat sealing upper die 39 correspond. Thereupon, the upper mold 39 is lowered toward the lower mold 38 to perform heat sealing of the two strips, and the cutter 40 cuts the middle of the two strips. This completes the ring-shaped unwound, and both ends of the unwound wamp are joined by heat sealing, while the sheet 34 is also joined by heat sealing to form a continuous sheet as shown in the figure. Both rolls 33 and 33' are consumed by the unwinding process, but the consumption of the lower roll 33' is somewhat greater.

When the roller 37 returns to the right, the roller 37 rotates clockwise to place the unwound article 3 thereon and carry it further forward. Therefore, the unwound article 3 to be packaged is on the bottom member 35 in the position shown in FIG. At this time, the state of the unwound packaged object is the same as that shown in FIG. 3a. Next, the sixth cylinder 45 is actuated to lower the transfer member 46, and the fifth cylinder 42 is subsequently actuated to bend the object 3 to the folding position 1.

The trapezoidal plate 47, the horizontal plates 48, 49, and their drive cylinders are lowered into predetermined positions. Then, as shown in FIG. 6a, when the eighth and ninth cylinders 52 and 53 are operated and the horizontal plates 48 and 49 are driven from outside to inside, the surplus portions 5 at both ends of the wamp is first bent inward along the vertical sides.
Then, when the pair of seventh cylinders 51 is actuated and the pair of plates 47 having a substantially trapezoidal outer shape are driven downward (FIG. 6b), the wamp end 5 is moved toward the previously driven horizontal plate 48, 49 along the horizontal upper side. Subsequently, when the tenth cylinder 54 is actuated, the round bar 50 is driven upward (FIG. 6c), bending the remaining portion of the wamp end 5 upward. This completes the bending as shown in Figure 3b. What should be kept in mind is the shape of the round bar 50, which is designed so that when the object 3 to be packed is transferred along the top surface of the table 57, the excess part 5 of the wamp, which is wider than the object 3 to be packed, can be smoothly moved without damaging it. be placed below the top surface of the table 57 in order to slide it into position, and be particularly narrow in the vertical direction so that it can be easily driven;
A rubber tape 58 is bonded to this. As a result, even if the length h (FIG. 6c) of the surplus portion of the wamp changes, it can be bent by the round bar 50, and this end can be held down by the rubber tape 58, especially when h is short. This is how it is becoming.

As for the string hanging, a well-known string hanging mechanism can be adopted. Subsequently, when the 10th cylinder 54 and the 11th cylinder 59 are released, they are all returned to their original positions. The item 3 to be packed, which has been completely tied, is pushed out by the next item to be packed, and is sent to a conveyor and sent to a shipping position.

に嵩張つた品物の梱包に適するものとなる。 As explained above, according to the present invention, the steps of wrapping the object to be packaged, bending the end of the wamp, and stringing can be performed in a single machine. It is clear that this saves effort. Furthermore, it is possible to save the labor and space needed to temporarily store intermediate packaging products, which would be unavoidable if, for example, the process before the unrolling process is mechanized and the subsequent process relies on labor. Furthermore, if the unrolling process includes compression, it becomes suitable for packaging not only bags but also relatively bulky items.
