(Prior Art) Generally, this type of suction port has a rotating brush that is located inside the suction port body and projects outward from the dust suction opening at the bottom of the main body, and a dust suction passage that is connected to the dust suction opening. It is equipped with an impeller that is rotated by the suction air flow, and a transmission means that is interposed between the rotating brush and the impeller and rotates the rotating brush as the impeller rotates, and the rotating brush has the effect of scraping up and sucking in dust. The dust-absorbing action of the airflow makes it possible to efficiently clean carpets.
(see publication). In such a suction port, if the filter becomes increasingly clogged, not only will the dust suction effect of the suction air flow decrease, but the rotational speed of the rotating brush will also decrease, which will also reduce the dust scraping effect. As a result, it becomes impossible to clean the toilet effectively. Therefore, in order to be able to constantly and efficiently clean the carpet, it is necessary to be able to constantly monitor changes in the dust suction power.

On the other hand, a vacuum cleaner that was able to display the dust suction power at the suction port was developed in 1973.
This is proposed in Publication No. 69960. In this proposal, another suction passage is provided in the suction port body in addition to the dust suction passage, and this suction passage is provided with an indicating impeller that rotates with the air flow, and the change in the pattern on the end surface of this impeller is monitored. By looking through the display window,
This makes it possible to determine the strength of the dust suction power.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) By the way, the suction port for the carpet was opened in 1973.
If a dust suction power display device such as that shown in Publication No. 69960 is adopted, it is possible to know the performance deterioration of the carpet cleaning due to filter clogging, but the following problems still remain.

For example, even if the filter is not clogged and the suction airflow is sufficient to absorb dust, if the impeller is locked by foreign matter or the rotation speed decreases due to lint or other entanglements, A situation occurs in which the raking action of the rotating brush is extremely reduced, making it impossible to efficiently clean the carpet. In such a case, the above-mentioned conventional display device has the disadvantage that it is incorrectly determined that the carpet is in a state suitable for cleaning.

In addition, in the above-mentioned conventional display device, the pattern on the end surface changes slightly depending on the rotation speed of the display impeller, and it is necessary to judge whether it is suitable or not based on the subtle change, and the judgment itself has a large variation. It is something that occurs.

(Function) With the above configuration, when the rotational speed of the impeller 11 decreases due to a decrease in suction airflow due to filter clogging, or when the rotational speed of the impeller 11 decreases due to locking due to foreign matter or entanglement of lint, In either case, it can be accurately determined that the voltage generated by the generator 15 is below the reference voltage and the condition is not suitable for carpet cleaning, and the determination result can be accurately recognized by the state of the indicator lamp 16. There is no variation in recognition.

8 is a resistor connected between both ends of the generator 15; 19 is a Zener diode connected between both ends of the generator 15 forming a series circuit with the resistor 20; and 21 is a collector connected to one end of the generator 15 via the resistor 22. The emitter is connected to the other end of the generator 15 through the display lamp 16, and the base is connected to the Zener diode 19 and the resistor 20.
These are transistors connected between the two. The potential at point a is set to be higher than the reference voltage of the Zener diode 19 when the rotation speed of the rotating brush 7 is suitable for cleaning the carpet. That is, a capacitor 17, a resistor 18, a Zener diode 19, a resistor 20, and a transistor 21.

Next, its operation will be explained. Now, when the vacuum cleaner starts operating, the suction air flow by the fan inside the vacuum cleaner body is sucked into the vacuum cleaner body through the dust suction opening 3, the dust suction passage 5, the suction pipe 4, and the extension pipe and hose (not shown). This causes the impeller 11 to rotate due to the airflow. Then,
As the impeller 11 rotates, the rotating brush 7 rotates and the generator 15 generates electricity, and the generated voltage is applied between points a and b.

Therefore, if the filter is not clogged and exhibits strong dust suction power, and the rotation speed of the rotating brush 7 is at a rotation speed suitable for carpet cleaning, the potential at point a will be higher than the reference voltage of the Zener diode 19. and
The potential at point c is also high, turning on the transistor 21, thereby turning on the indicator lamp 16. By lighting the indicator lamp 16, the user determines that the condition is suitable for cleaning the carpet.

From this state, the amount of collected dust and the clogging of the filter increase, and the dust suction power gradually weakens, and the rotational speed of the rotating brush 7 decreases to a point that is not suitable for cleaning the carpet, or the impeller 11, for example, When the rotational speed of the rotating brush 7 decreases to a point where it is not suitable for carpet cleaning due to being locked by a foreign object such as a stick or entangled with lint, the potential at point a becomes lower than the reference voltage of the Zener diode 19 and reaches point c. The potential becomes negative, which turns off the transistor 21 and turns off the indicator lamp 16. When the indicator lamp 16 goes out, the user determines that the state is unsuitable for cleaning the carpet.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, not only when the dust suction power decreases due to clogging of the filter, but also when the rotation speed decreases due to the impeller being locked by foreign matter or entangled with lint etc. , it is possible to determine that the condition is unsuitable for cleaning the bathtub and display it with an indicator lamp. This prevents the cleaning of the bathtub from being continued in an inefficient condition, and ensures that the bathtub is always cleaned efficiently. Furthermore, by glancing at the status of the indicator lamp, it is possible to easily and accurately recognize whether or not the carpet is in a suitable condition for cleaning, making it extremely excellent in practical use.
