[Detailed description of the invention] When measuring the daily salt excretion amount, urinary sugar excretion amount, or urine protein excretion amount, creatine urea, etc. excretion amount in a test for renal function, diabetes, hypertension, etc. using accumulated urine volume such as total urine volume. There are many. In such cases, for example, an open container with a scale of 2 or so is generally used, but in large hospitals, a special room must be prepared to store this container. Also, the appearance is not very pleasant. The present invention relates to a measuring device that replaces the total urine volume container and is designed to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks. The aim is to provide a measuring device. The basic understanding of the present invention is that by sampling the urine volume each time at a constant rate and multiplying the accumulated volume by the reciprocal of the constant rate, the total urine volume can be determined without changing the concentrations of various electrolytes and hormones in the urine. This is the starting point and was obtained as a result of considering how to use the sampling means.

That is, the present invention consists of a tubular container and a hollow tubular container located within the container whose cross-sectional area ratio with the tubular container is constant at any position in the vertical direction. The gist of the present invention is a total urine volume measuring device characterized by a tubular container that communicates with the user at its bottom so that it can be opened and closed, and that the tubular container is equipped with an outlet that can be opened and closed to discharge urine into a storage tank or a chamber. This solved the problem mentioned above. The principle of this gist is extremely simple. If the area ratio at the same level is constant in a double cylindrical container whose lower ends are communicating, then when it is filled with liquid, the amount of liquid in the inner cylinder and the total liquid This means that the ratio of quantities is equal to the ratio of areas. This is because volume is nothing more than area x height. The present invention will be specifically explained below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of one basic aspect of the measuring device of the present invention, and is an example in which the storage tank is integrated with the container body. In the figure, 1 is a cylindrical container in the form of a beaker, for example, and a tubular container 2 is placed inside the container 1.
It is planted at the bottom of the. The container 2 communicates with the container 1 at its lower portion via a stopcock 3 that can be opened and closed, and the area ratio of both containers at the same location (height) is kept constant. Further, there is a discharge port at the bottom of the tubular container 2, which can also be opened and closed with a stopcock 4. In this embodiment, a storage tank 5 is integrally formed under the cylindrical container 1, and it looks like a double-bottomed container. This storage tank is provided with an opening/closing port 6 and an air vent plug 7. Although not shown in the figure, there is a scale indicating the normal liquid level on the storage tank 5.
It may also be attached to the cylindrical container 1 or the tubular container if necessary.

Next, the usage of the measuring device will be described. First, the stopcock 3 is opened and the other stopcocks are closed to urinate into the container 1. At this time, the urine position in the tubular container 2 is at the same level as in the container 1. Next, the stopcock 3 is closed, the air vent cock 7 is opened, the stopcock 4 is opened, the urine in the tubular container 2 is dropped into the storage tank 5, and the urine inside the tubular container 2 is allowed to fall into the storage tank 5. After that, the stopcock 4 and the air vent cock 7 are closed, the stopcock 3 is opened, and the urine inside the container 1 is drained. Discard the urine. Repeat the above operations within a certain period of time. In this case, a predetermined amount of urine is accumulated in the tank 5, and the actual total urine amount can be calculated backwards from this amount. In this case, the storage tank 5 may be marked with a scale corresponding to the actual amount of urine. If the inner area of the cylindrical container 1 and the inner area of the cylindrical container 1 are divided at a ratio of 9:1, the total urine amount will be 10 times the urine amount in the tank 5. If the ratio is 99:1, just multiply by 100.

In the above example, the storage tank is integrated.
The result is exactly the same even if the storage tank is a separate container. When the product of the present invention is used, the urine is not in a released state when it is stored, so there is no odor or discomfort, and it does not take up much space, so its effects are extremely large.
