BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY By sandwiching a phosphor (luminous body) formed into a thin plate between two electrodes and applying an alternating current (or direct current) electric field to both electrodes,
It has been generally known for a long time that a luminescent effect (electroluminescent development) can be obtained. This type of electroluminescence phenomenon is now used in plate lamps, such as indicator lights, signs, and decorative light sources.However, in the case of plate lamps with conventional structures, part of the plate lamp is partially removed. The problem is that it is not possible to emit light or adjust the brightness partially.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention Namely, in the plate lamp of the conventional structure, as shown in FIG. Due to the fact that it is provided in a single piece,
causing the entire surface of the light-emitting layer a to emit light simultaneously;
Moreover, the brightness can only be adjusted.
The problem is that a portion of the light-emitting layer a is caused to emit light locally, and its brightness cannot be adjusted.

It should be noted that although it is possible to deal with the above-mentioned problems by pasting together multiple plate lamps with small light emitting surfaces, In this case, the wiring becomes complicated, and a new problem arises in that luminescent spots are formed on the luminescent surface.

In other words, when plate lamps are pasted together, it is necessary to minimize the gap formed by the edge portions (sealed portions) of the package film, so the edges must be overlapped and pasted. However, by overlapping and pasting the ear portions in this way, the brightness of the overlapping portions decreases, resulting in the problem of not being able to emit high-brightness light overall. .

Effects of the Invention The present invention is constructed as described above, and includes:
As mentioned above, when a pair of electrodes are superposed with a light emitting body formed in a thin plate shape sandwiched between them, a single sheet is formed on one side of the light emitting body to have the same shape as the light emitting body. While polymerizing the electrode (transparent electrode),
On the other surface of the light emitting body, a plurality of divided electrodes (back electrodes) of arbitrary size and shape are provided by polymerizing, and an arbitrary electrode is selected from the plurality of back electrodes. By applying a charged voltage between the same electrode and the transparent electrode, it is possible to emit light only from a portion of the entire surface of the light emitting body that corresponds to the arbitrarily selected back electrode, and its brightness can be adjusted. I was able to do it. In other words, it has become possible to cause the light emitter to emit light partially.

In this way, it has become possible to make a part of the light emitting body emit light arbitrarily, so that indicator lights,
In addition to being able to enhance its use as a light source for signs and decorations, it has also become possible to further expand its range of use, such as being able to use it as a back light for searching for new locations on maps.
