に形成したものが開示されている。(Prior Art and its Problems) Conventionally, as a resin screen installed in a motorcycle or the like, there is known a screen as described in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 36-8118. According to this, the screen main body of the screen (transparent windshield) is formed to extend in a substantially straight line from the lower mounting part to the upper part, and the thickness of only the upper peripheral part is increased from the bottom to the top. It is disclosed that it is formed in such a way that it gradually decreases.

という問題点がある。 However, in the configuration of this prior art, the screen main body, which occupies most of the screen, is formed to extend in a substantially straight line from the lower mounting part to the upper part, so wind and rain that hit the screen surface while driving are prevented. Since the speed direction of the screen is always facing almost rearward, in order to maintain the windshield effect, which is the original function of the screen, it is necessary to make the screen surface body as long as possible in the vehicle height direction. There are problems in that it increases running resistance and it is difficult to avoid an increase in overall weight. In addition, the mounting part at the bottom of the screen is the part where the load is most concentrated during driving, etc., but the configuration of the above-mentioned conventional technology does not take this point into consideration, so it is necessary to provide a separate member called a support, while the peripheral part Since it is simply formed to be thin, there is a problem in that it becomes easy to bend and therefore reduces transparency.

ある。 In addition, as other conventional techniques, for example,
Publication No. 37426 discloses a screen (windshield) that is slightly curved so as to be convex toward the front of the vehicle body, and its peripheral edge (outer edge end) is formed into an arcuate cross-section in order to reinforce against deflection. While this configuration has the same problems as the above-mentioned prior art, in practice, in order to increase its reinforcing effect, it is necessary to widen the width of the arcuate cross-sectional portion to a considerable extent.
There is still a problem in that it is difficult to avoid an increase in weight.

製スクリーンを提供することを目的とする。(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the prior art. , the screen surface peripheral portion forming the outer shell of the screen surface main body and the lower mounting portion of the screen surface main body are integrally formed by molding, while the wall thickness of the screen surface main body increases from the mounting portion to the screen surface main body. The screen is formed so that it gradually decreases along the periphery of the screen surface, and curves toward the front of the vehicle body with a curved surface having a substantially equal curvature from the mounting portion to the periphery of the screen surface, and the cross section of the periphery of the screen surface has a radius of curvature. The screen is formed into a molded shape combining a plurality of different types of curves, and furthermore, the mounting part is formed thicker than other parts, and by changing the form without impairing the original function of the screen. ,
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin screen that can contribute to reducing weight and improving yield.

In addition, since the mounting part is formed thicker than other parts, it has sufficient strength against running resistance, and the thickness is gradually reduced from the mounting part to the peripheral part, so that It is possible to prevent excessive strength while reducing weight, and since the peripheral portion is formed in a molded shape, only the portions necessary for strength are thickened, thereby avoiding an unnecessary increase in weight.

As shown in the figure, it is formed in a molded shape that combines two types of curves with different curvature radii R 1 and R 2 in the front-rear direction, and the bending rigidity of the screen surface main body 13, which has been thinned as described above, while running. This is done to prevent a decrease in transparency.

Then, the substrate 2 of the back mirror 24 is mounted on the garnish 19 via the seat stay 23.

段と高められる。 In this way, in this embodiment, the screen main body 13 is formed to gradually decrease from the mounting portion to the peripheral edge of the screen surface, so that the weight can be reduced by that amount. 10 is formed with a smooth curved surface that curves forward, the wind from the front of the vehicle can be smoothly blown higher from the upper end of the screen main body 13, and the height of the screen main body 13 in the vehicle height direction can be increased accordingly. The length can be shortened. The mounting part 14, where the load is most concentrated during driving, is made thick, and the screen main body 13, which receives a relatively small load when separated from the mounting part 14, is made thin. It is possible to obtain a resin screen 12 with no thick walls (excessive strength) and good strength balance, and the weight can be reduced while effectively maintaining the mounting strength during driving. Furthermore, as described above, while the screen surface main body 13 is made as thin as possible, the screen surface outer peripheral end 15 is formed into a molded shape to increase the bending rigidity during driving, so that the visibility is further improved. be enhanced.

Since time is shortened and material yield is also improved, product costs can be reduced.

を奏する。(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, in a resin screen installed near the handle of a motorcycle, tricycle, etc., a screen surface main body, a screen surface peripheral portion forming the outer contour of the screen surface main body, and a lower mounting portion of the screen surface main body is integrally formed by molding, while the wall thickness of the screen surface main body gradually decreases from the mounting portion to the peripheral edge of the screen surface, and
A curved surface having substantially the same curvature is formed from the mounting portion to the peripheral edge of the screen surface so as to curve toward the front of the vehicle body, and the cross section of the peripheral edge of the screen surface is formed into a molding shape that is a combination of multiple types of curves having different radii of curvature. Furthermore, since the mounting part is formed thicker than other parts, it is possible to improve workability by using molding, reduce weight by gradually reducing the thickness of the screen main body, and reduce the yield of raw materials. Achieving miniaturization by warping the main body of the screen surface, preventing bending while preventing weight increase by forming a molded shape around the periphery, maintaining effective mounting strength by increasing the thickness of only the mounting part, etc. , which produces various effects without impairing the original functions of the screen.
