フイードローラ5を実線の如くオープンとし、シ
ートストツパ6を実線の如くクローズとした状態
で用紙2を挿入し、シートストツパ6に突き当つ
た状態でセンサ7で媒体がセツトされたことを見
て、シートストツパ6を点線の如くオープンし、
フイードローラ5を点線の如くクローズして用紙
のセツトを完了するようにしている。このような
従来の用紙送り機構では、構造が複雑であり、ま
た用紙が斜にセツトされるような場合があるとい

発明の構成

に間隔を設けて取着し、該2個のローラ間に媒体
のセツトを確認する媒体セツトセンサと、媒体の
印字位置の基準となる媒体上端を検出する停止セ
ンサとを設け、該媒体セツトセンサは媒体進行方
向より見てフイードローラと媒体が接する線の手
前で且つ該線に近接して配置し、停止センサは媒
体進行方向より見てフイードローラと媒体が接す
る線の後方に配置したことを特徴とする水平型シ
リアルプリンタの用紙送り機構を提供することに
