``Conventional technology and its problems'' Traditionally, abalone culture reefs were constructed by arranging a large number of wave-dissipating blocks on a flat bedrock on a relatively shallow coast, and placing stones with a diameter of 30 cm or more in a 70-cm diameter row inside the blocks. The most common method was to lay it out in thick layers. However, this has the disadvantage that it is extremely time-consuming to install, requires a large number of blocks, and is expensive.

On the other hand, as shown in Fig. 5, a concrete block 3 is used as a breeding block for young abalones, in which plate-shaped convex portions 1 that stand upright on the upper surface of a rectangular parallelepiped and deep concave portions 2 that serve as spaces for the abalone to inhabit are alternately provided. was used. Note that a mesh pipe 4 made of synthetic resin for curing kelp etc. may be planted on the upper end surface of the convex portion 1. This concrete block 3 has a very large formwork area compared to the amount of concrete and is difficult to manufacture, so it cannot be mass produced.
It also had the disadvantage of being relatively expensive.

In addition, both this concrete block 3 and the above-mentioned wave-dissipating block have a small or flat ground contact area at the bottom, so when installed on the bedrock of the seabed, the bedrock has considerable unevenness. However, when external forces such as waves are applied to these blocks, the blocks are easily shaken. In particular, in the case of the concrete block 3, the rigidity is too strong and there is no flexibility, so that the ground contact part is lopsided and unstable. Furthermore, the block is susceptible to large wave forces in the direction in which the unevenness is arranged, and the bottom surface of the block is susceptible to uplift force. This caused it to sway, slide, or even topple over even under considerable weight.

However, abalones have a habit of never inhabiting shaking rocks or blocks, no matter how large they are. In addition, abalone spends its growth period in relatively shallow, clean seawater at a depth of around 1.5 meters. Therefore, they prefer places where the waves are relatively rough and can be easily avoided. Furthermore, they hide between narrow rocks during the day and when the waves are strong, and come out to the surface of rocks and blocks at night to feed on seaweed such as kelp and wakame.

Furthermore, the abalone culture reef according to the present invention uses a plurality of connected concrete blocks as described above, and installs them at required intervals on the seabed ground with the concave portions facing downward. It is characterized in that stones with a diameter of 30 cm or more are piled up to a thickness of about 70 cm or about the height of the above-mentioned plate blocks between the connected bodies.

``Function'' Since the concrete block connected body of the present invention is made up of a plurality of plate blocks connected at regular intervals, seawater can circulate well in the sea. However, when the waves become strong, because there are gaps between the plate blocks, they receive almost no uplift force, which has the effect of disturbing the waves and reducing their energy. Therefore, the gap can be used as a refuge for abalone, and the upper end surface of the plurality of board blocks, which is long and slender and has many angular ridge lines, can be used as a suitable curing place for seaweeds such as kelp. Also,
Each board block has recesses, and multiple recesses are connected at regular intervals, so it can be installed stably on the seabed. Furthermore, it has through holes for transportation, etc., so assembly and installation work is easy. etc. is also easy.

FIG. 2 (side view) and FIG. 3 (plan view) show an example of a concrete block assembly A according to the present invention, which is assembled by connecting, for example, eight such plate blocks 10. This concrete block connected body A is made of 6 pieces of the same size with the above-mentioned structure.
One plate block 10a, and two plate blocks 10b at both ends, which have the same structure and height but are larger, that is, have longer long sides and are slightly thicker, are as follows. It is connected like this. In addition, these two types of large and small board blocks 10a,
10b has three iron bar through holes 1 even though the lengths are different.
The intervals between 4 are the same. That is, the iron rods (long bolts) 15 are passed through the three iron rod through holes 14 of the plate block 10b at the end, and the iron rods 15 are passed between the plate blocks 10b and 10a and between the plate blocks 10a. Spacers 16 provided with holes (not shown) are interposed at three locations, and the recesses 11 and 12 of the plate blocks 10a and 10b are aligned, and the iron bar 15 is aligned with the block 10.
After passing through the iron rods 15a and 10b and the spacers 16 alternately, both ends of the iron rod 15 are tightened with nuts or the like. As a result, the plate blocks 10a and 10b are connected to each other with an appropriate distance 17 maintained by the spacer 16 without directly adhering to each other. In this case, the iron rod 15 is thinner than the iron rod through hole 14 of the plate blocks 10a, 10b, and a play is formed between them.

Therefore, since the concrete block connected body A is assembled by connecting the plate blocks 10a and 10b with the iron rod 15, it is extremely simple to manufacture and can be easily mass-produced. Since each plate block 10a, 10b has a through hole 13, transportation and assembly work can be easily carried out by hooking a hanging fitting made of wire or H-beam steel into this through hole 13 during transportation or assembly. In addition, in this case, the concrete block connected body A as a whole has a plate block 10.
Even if a and 10b are flexible, they can be hung without significantly deforming the overall shape, and the hanging fittings can be easily attached and removed. In addition, this through hole 13 is connected to the plate block 10a,
It also has the effect of improving the flow of seawater between 10b, and when waves become strong, it disturbs them and reduces their energy.

Furthermore, since there is always a recess 12 on the lower side of each plate block 10a, 10b, it is easy to sit on even on uneven rock. Moreover, each plate block 10a, 10
Since there is play between the iron rod through hole 14 and the iron rod 15 in b, each plate block 10a, 10
Since b independently adapts to the height of the ground and is flexible as a whole, it easily bites into the irregularities of the ground and conforms to them. Therefore, even if waves act perpendicularly to the plate surface, the resistance force is large, and against waves parallel to the plate surface, there is little resistance due to the large number of gaps 17, and therefore, there is almost no uplift force. Therefore, it has extremely high installation stability and has an excellent wave-dissipating effect.

In addition, in the figure, the iron bar through hole 14 is inserted into the plate block 10.
However, this is not limited to three locations; in areas where the seabed ground is extremely uneven, it is provided only at one location in the center of the board block 10, and is penetrated through this location. The plate block 10 may be allowed to freely rotate around the iron rod.
Further, depending on the degree of unevenness of the ground, the location and number of holes to be drilled can be selected as appropriate, such as providing two locations, one on each side of the plate block 10, depending on the situation of the submarine ground.

Furthermore, although the recesses 11 on the upper sides of the plate blocks 10a, 10b are not necessarily required, it is convenient if they are provided because there is no need to distinguish between upper and lower parts during installation. In particular, in order to promote the adhesion of seaweeds such as kelp, there are
When attaching the reticulated pipe 4 as shown in the figure, if there is a recess 11 on the upper side, by attaching the reticulated pipe inside the recessed part 11, it can be protected from waves, etc., and its installation stability is increased.

In the abalone aquaculture reef constructed in this way, the concrete blocks A are prevented from shaking each other by the stones 19 between them, and the stones 19 are formed by large plates, especially at both ends of the concrete block links A. Dissipation is prevented by the block 10b, and this synergistic effect increases the wave resistance, and together with the above-mentioned wave-dissipating effect of each concrete block connected body A, the abalone is protected from waves. This is very convenient for abalones, which have a habit of doing so. Moreover, 19 stones
In addition, since the upper end surfaces of the board blocks 10a and 10b are long and narrow and have many angular ridge lines, it is easy for seaweed such as kelp, which is food for abalone, to grow on the board blocks 10a and 10b.
Since the gap 17 between b is shaded and direct sunlight is blocked, an extremely good habitat for abalone can be easily provided in large quantities, and aquaculture productivity is greatly increased.

Also, during the abalone cultivation survey period, it is necessary to move the blocks and stones in order to collect young abalone adhering to the surface of the blocks and stones, but in such a case, the concrete block connection A is 15 and each plate block 10a, 1
Since the 0b can be separated one by one, the workability of the investigation is much easier compared to the conventional growing block shown in FIG.
