One of the methods for molding ceramic products is a cold isostatic press method, and the cold isostatic press method includes a wet method and a dry method. In the wet method, ceramic powder is sealed in a rubber mold, placed in a liquid in a high-pressure container, and pressure is applied isotropically to form the ceramic powder. In addition, in the dry method, a pressurized rubber mold is installed in a high-pressure container to seal the liquid so that the liquid does not come into direct contact with the molded rubber mold, and ceramic powder is directly filled into the pressurized rubber mold. This is a method of pressure molding using a rubber mold.

However, in the case of such conventional methods, the wet method involves filling a rubber mold with ceramic powder,
It is necessary to place the mold in a high-pressure container, mold it with hydraulic pressure, and then take it out. Handling the rubber mold in this way is troublesome, and furthermore, the rubber mold gets wet with liquid, making handling even more inconvenient. It was hot. In addition, the dry method uses a pressurized rubber mold, so there is a problem that it is unsuitable for molding ceramic products with complicated shapes.

In order to achieve the above object, the method for molding a rubber-type ceramic product of the present invention includes an outer mold, an inner mold that is slidable inside the outer mold, and a mold that is installed inside the outer mold and is compressed. Using a mold made of a rubber mold that has been processed in advance so that the compressive force is almost uniform when the mold is pressed, the rubber mold is filled with ceramic powder, and the inner mold is pressed. This configuration performs molding by compressing and deforming a rubber mold.

According to this configuration, the ceramic powder is processed isobarically from the surrounding area by compressive deformation of the rubber mold, so that a ceramic product similar to a ceramic product molded by the cold isostatic press method can be obtained, and moreover, it is possible to obtain a ceramic product molded by the cold isostatic press method. In FIG. 1, 1 is a cylindrical outer mold, 2 is an inner mold that is slidably fitted into the outer mold 1, 3 is a mold 1,
A cylindrical elastic rubber mold made of natural or synthetic resin rubber inserted into 2, 4 a punch for pressing the middle mold 2, and 5 filled into the molds 1, 2 and the rubber mold 3. The inner surface of the rubber mold 3 is processed so that when it is pressed through the middle mold 2 by a punch 4, almost uniform pressure is applied to the ceramics to be molded. .

During molding, a rubber mold 3 is inserted into the outer mold 1, a predetermined amount of ceramic powder 5 is filled into the rubber mold 3, and then an inner mold 2 is inserted into the outer mold 1.
This is pressed with a punch 4 at a predetermined pressure for a predetermined time. As a result, the rubber mold 3 is compressed and deformed,
As shown by the imaginary lines in the figure, the inner surface applies approximately equal pressure to the ceramic to be molded. In this way, a ceramic product of a predetermined shape is molded.

In this way, by pressing the rubber mold 3 through the middle mold 2 with the punch 4, the rubber mold 3 is deformed,
Since the ceramic powder 5 is isotropically pressed from its surroundings, a ceramic product similar to that formed by cold isostatic pressing can be obtained. Furthermore, since no liquid is used, the process is simple and the molding cycle time can be shortened.
Further, since the rubber mold 3 can be easily processed and corrected, the manufacturing cost of the rubber mold 3 can be reduced. In addition, just by replacing the rubber mold 3, you can use it for car plugs, etc.
It is possible to mold ceramic products with various complex shapes. Moreover, since the rubber mold 3 tends to return to its original shape when the compressive load is removed, demolding is easy.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment. In this way, separate rubber molds 6 and 7 may be provided above and below the rubber mold 3. In this way, the life of the rubber mold 3 can be extended. can be achieved.

In addition, when obtaining a ceramic product that is cylindrical and molded into a predetermined shape on both the inner and outer circumferential surfaces, another rubber mold is used that is fitted inside the rubber mold 3 with an interval in the radial direction, and the ceramic is molded around this rubber mold. What is necessary is to fill it with powder 5.
