That is, a honeycomb core 2 is inserted into a rectangular panel frame 1 made of channel steel, and surface plates 3 and 4 are bonded to both surfaces of the honeycomb core 2. The honeycomb core 2 is made of paper impregnated with resin and is freely foldable. This honeycomb core 2 is stored in a folded state and is expanded when inserted into the panel frame 1. When attaching the top plates 3 and 4, an adhesive is applied to the back surfaces of the top plates 3 and 4, and the top plates 3 and 4 are bonded to the honeycomb core 2 and the panel frame 1 using a hot press. However, since the adhesive is applied to the entire back surface of the top plates 3 and 4, the adhesive is applied to areas not necessary for adhesion, resulting in a problem in that a large amount of adhesive is wasted.

That is, this method for manufacturing a honeycomb core panel includes the steps of preparing a honeycomb core 2 in a folded state, and immersing the honeycomb core 2 in a folded state in a liquid adhesive in an adhesive tank 5 to prepare the honeycomb core 2. A step of applying adhesive to both end faces (FIG. 3), a step of expanding the honeycomb core 2 coated with this adhesive and fitting it into the panel frame 1 (FIG. 4), This method includes the step of adhering surface plates 3 and 4 (FIG. 1) to both end faces of the base plate. The honeycomb core 2, panel frame 1, and surface plates 3 and 4 are the same as those of the conventional example. In the step of applying the adhesive to the honeycomb core 2, the honeycomb core 2 is turned upside down and the adhesive is applied only to the end faces of the honeycomb core 2. Surface plate 3, 4
When pasting, an adhesive is applied to the panel frame 1, and the surface plates 3, 4 are bonded to the honeycomb core 2 and the panel frame 1 is bonded at the same time. This adhesion is performed by hot pressing by sandwiching the pieces between top and bottom hot platens.

Further, since the honeycomb core 2 is immersed in the adhesive tank 5 in a folded state, the adhesive tank 5 can be made small. The honeycomb core 2 is usually stored in a folded state, and it is easy to work because it can be immersed in the adhesive bath 5 in the folded state.

Unlike the case where adhesive is used, no adhesive is wasted, and the amount of adhesive used can be significantly reduced. Moreover, since the honeycomb core is immersed in the adhesive tank in a folded state, a small adhesive tank is sufficient and the workability is also good.
