従来、顕微鏡の落射暗視野照明装置として、暗
視野照明用のリング状反射鏡と明視野照明用の半

ズと一体的に構成して光路中に切換挿入すること
により、暗視野照明及び明視野照明を簡単に切換
可能にした所謂落射明暗視野照明装置が知られて
いる。しかしながら、この種従来の装置において
は、暗視野照明から明視野照明に切換える場合
(または明視野照明から暗視野照明に切換える場
合)に暗視野照明用のリング状反射鏡が対物レン
ズ光軸より僅かに移動したときリング状反射鏡か
らの照明光が暗視野照明とならず即ちその一部が
遮光筒により遮断されず直接試料面に達しそこで
反射された光が視野内に進入する(この光を照明
迷光という)ため、非常にまぶしかつた。これは
光路切換時の一時的現象ではあるけれども、観察
中の光路切換では検鏡者の眼を傷めてしまう等の
欠点があつた。

従つて本発明は、光路切換操作に連動して作動
するシヤツタを設けて前記欠点を除去し検鏡者の
眼を保護し得る落射明暗視野照明装置を提供せん
とするものであるが、以下本発明の一実施例につ
き第1図及び第2図により説明すれば、第1図は
本発明による装置の一実施例の光路切換部の縦断
面図であり第2図は第1図の−線断面図であ
る。1は下部に鏡基取付部が形成されていて且つ
上部に鏡筒取付枠2が一体に固着されている本体
枠、3は暗視野照明光が対物レンズに直接に入射
しないようにするために本体枠1に固着された遮
光筒、4は暗視野照明レンズ5、暗視野照明用の
リング状反射鏡6及び明視野照明レンズ7、明視
野照明用の半透鏡8が装着されていて且つ鏡筒取
付枠2に形成されたアリ溝に第1図において紙面
に垂直な方向に摺動し得るように係合するアリ9
が取付けられた光路切換枠であつて、光路切換ツ
マミ10の操作により暗視野照明光学系(第3図
参照)及び明視野照明光学系を選択的に構成する
ようになつている。11はリング状反射鏡6に固
定された遮光筒、12は本体枠1に固着された照
明レンズ枠で、図示しない照明レンズを支持して
いる。13は光路切換枠4に軸14(第3図及び
第4図参照)の周りに回動可能に枢着された光路
切換時の有害な光を遮断するためのシヤツタでそ
の第3図における右旋がストツパー15により制
限されている。16は光路切換枠4が暗視野照明
光学系を構成する位置にあるとき(第3図参照)
シヤツタ13の突出部13aに当接してシヤツタ
13を光路外へはねのけるための鏡筒取付枠2に
固着されたはねのけ部材である。

右旋してストツパー15に当接し照明光路を部分

視野内へ進入する有害な光(照明迷光)がシヤツ
タ13により遮断される。さらに光路切換ツマミ
10を引出して明視野照明に切換えたときに、シ
ヤツタ13は第4図のようにストツパー15に当

照明位置から光路切換ツマミ10を押し込めば、
暗視野照明に切換わる直前にシヤツター13の突
出部13aが鏡筒取付枠2に固着されたはねのけ
部材16に当接してシヤツタ13は照明光路外へ
はねのけられる。従つて明視野照明から暗視野照
明へ切換える場合にも前記有害な光の視野内への
進入が阻止される。
