器が複雑、大型になりコストアツプになる欠点が
ある。後者においては、ヘツドの移動を行う圧電
素子に印加する高電圧発生機あるいは高電圧に対
するシールド、回転ドラムに高電圧を送るための
スリツプリングとブラシの摩耗あるいは摺動ノイ
ズの問題がある。このヘツド摩耗の解決策の一つ
としてヘツドの回転を止める手段もあるが上ドラ
ム回転型においては、磁気テープと上ドラム面間
に空気層が形成できないため走行負荷が多くなる
欠点がある。
