ともに、化粧板に対角線的に配置された2つのネ
ジ挿通孔を穿設し、まず、支持基板のネジ挿通孔
のうち化粧板側のネジ挿通孔とは逆対角線上にあ
る2つのネジ挿通孔を利用して支持基板を筐体に
ネジ止めし、しかるのち化粧板の2つのネジ挿通
孔を支持基板の残された2つのネジ挿通孔に合致
させたうえで、化粧板を支持基板とともに筐体に
対して共締めするようにしている。しかしなが
ら、この方法によると、製造上の寸法誤差の累積
により支持基板側のネジ挿通孔と化粧板側のネジ
挿通孔とがずれてしまう場合が多く、その孔明け
位置を修正するかもしくは強制的に位置合せした
のちネジ止めしなければならないという煩らわし
い作業が伴なうものであつた。
