本発明は、立体的に屈曲されて形成される立体
板をその木口を処理しつつ製造するための製造方

のように塗料7を塗布すると塗料7の表面板3の
化粧面に飛散して汚してしまうおそれがあると共
に、表面板3が合板などで形成されている場合に
は塗料7が木口4から吸収されて美しく仕上げる
ことができないという問題がある。また第10図
bのように紐などの見切材8を木口4に接着剤で
貼り付けることもなされているが、このものでは
接着面積が小さいために見切材8が木口4から剥
がれてしまうおそれがある。さらに第9図cのよ
うに樹脂材で形成した成型品9を木口4に取り付
けることもなされているが、このものでは成型品
9を成形するための金型等を必要とし、コストの

[発明の開示]
しかして本発明に係る木口処理した立体板の製
造方法は、化粧シート1の背面側端部に芯材2を
取り付け、表面板3の端部表面に芯材2が表面板
3の端縁に沿うように化粧シート1の表面側を重
ね、次いで化粧シート1を芯材2に巻き付けるよ
うに折り返して表面板3の木口4を化粧シート1
で覆うと共に化粧シート1をさらに折り返して表
面板3の背面側に重ねて化粧シート1を表面板3
の背面に固定し、しかるのち表面板1を芯材2と
ともに屈曲させることを特徴とするもので、かか
る化粧シート1と芯材2とを用いて表面板3の木
口4の処理がおこなわれるようにして上記目的を
達成するようにしたものであり、以下本発明を実

芯材2はアルミニウム、銅、鉄、硬質ポリ塩化

る程度の弾性力を有して折り曲げ可能な材料で形
成してある。この芯材2は角棒状に形成されるも
のである。また化粧シート1は織布、不織布、そ
の他柔軟性と強靭性とを有するもので形成してあ
る。しかしてまず、第4図a,bに示すように化
粧シート1の背面の一端部に芯材2を接着材10
によつて接着することによつて化粧シート1に芯
材2を取り付ける。このとき第5図a,bのよう
に化粧シート1の一端に袋状の筒部12を形成し
ておき、この筒部12に芯材2を挿入して化粧シ
ート1への芯材2の取り付けをおこなうようにし
てもよい。このように化粧シート1に芯材2を取
り付けたのち、第1図a,bのように合板、樹脂
板、鉄板などで形成される表面板3の端部の表面
に化粧シート1をその表面側において重ねる。そ
して第1図bのa矢印のように化粧シート1を折
り返して第1図cのように化粧シート1で芯材2
を包み込むと共に表面板3の木口4を化粧シート
1で覆う。そしてさらに第1図cのb矢印のよう
に化粧シート1を折り返し、第1図dのc矢印の
方向に引張力を加えた状態で化粧シート1のこの
表面板3の背面側に折り返した部分を接着剤やス
テープルによつて表面板3に固定する。このよう
に表面板3に化粧シート1と芯材2とを取り付け
たのち、第1図eのように表面板3を芯材2とと
もに屈折させる。このように表面板3を屈曲させ
ると、芯材2の両端部において元の状態に戻ろう
とする力dが働くことになるが、化粧シート1に
よつて芯材2は表面板3に保持された状態にある
ため、この力dの反力eが芯材2の中央部に生じ
て芯材2は表面板3に押し付けられることにな
る。従つてこの反力eによる芯材2の押し付けで
化粧シート1を介して芯材2と表面板3との間に
摩擦力が働き、化粧シート1と芯材2の表面板3
に対する固定が保持されるものである。このよう
にして第3図のように化粧シート1による表面板
3の木口4の被覆処理がなされるものであり、表
面板3に裏板6を第2図のように取り付けて立体

で覆うと共に化粧シートをさらに折り返して表面
板の背面側に重ねて化粧シートを表面板の背面に
固定し、しかるのち表面板を芯材とともに屈曲さ
せるようにしたので、表面板と芯材の屈曲で芯材
が表面板に圧接されて化粧シートは表面板の木口
を被覆した状態で表面板に保持されるものであ
り、塗料や樹脂成型品などを用いるような必要な
く表面板の木口の処理を確実におこなうことがで
