Disposable lighters that use liquefied gas such as butane as fuel are widely used, but this liquefied gas is a valuable fossil fuel, and when exposed to sunlight and becomes hot, the pressure increases rapidly. There was a problem that there was a risk of the container bursting, and that there were always dangers involved in storing and filling the gas, and transporting the product. Also, for this reason, the main body case needs to be strongly manufactured using high-grade resin.
There was also a cost problem.

On the other hand, conventionally known liquid fuel lighters have a wick, and are configured so that fuel is guided from inside the fuel tank to the outside of the tank by the wick and ignited. In such a configuration, it is necessary to always cover the tip of the wick with a suitable cap to prevent fuel leakage, and therefore, when igniting, this cap must be removed before ignition can be performed. It was quite inconvenient. In addition, this cap usually did not allow the wick to be completely closed airtight, which caused problems such as an oily smell inside the pocket while the cap was being carried.

The present invention has been made based on the above-mentioned viewpoints, and its purpose is to use alcohol, etc., which is liquid and safe at room temperature as a fuel, and to have no wick and therefore a cap. The object of the present invention is to provide a lighter that does not require any air-tightness, has a simple structure, and is completely airtight.

The operating rod 2 consists of a valve support arm 2a, a finger hook 2b, a slide portion 2c, and a file axle support arm 2d.
A mounting hole 2e and a ventilation groove 2f are provided at the free end of the valve support arm 2a, and the fuel outlet valve 3 is firmly mounted through the mounting hole 2e. The file axle support arm 2d is also provided on the front side of the paper, and a shaft 5 that rotatably supports the file wheel 4 is attached thereto. The slide portion 2c has a cylindrical shape, and a flint stone 6 is placed inside it.
A hole 2g into which a spring 7 is inserted is provided, and a guide hole 2h through which a stopper 9 fixed to the main body 1 passes is provided at the lower end. The slide portion 2c is inserted into the operating rod hole 1f together with the spring 8, and is held slidably in the axial direction within the range allowed by the stopper 9 and the guide hole 2h. Therefore, due to the elastic force of the spring 8, the operating rod 2 is normally at the end of its movement upward in the figure, that is, at the extinguishing position, but when the top of the file wheel is pressed by a finger and rotated to ignite the fire. is moved downward to the end of its movement, ie, to the ignition position, as shown in FIG. Thus, when the finger is caught on the finger hook 2b, the operating stick 2 is continuously held at the ignition position.

On the other hand, the lower end of the fuel outlet valve 3 is connected to the piston portion 3.
(a) The upper end is a fire pan 3b, and inside thereof are provided fuel outlet passages 3c, 3d that communicate laterally from the bottom of the fire pan, and a ventilation groove 3e is provided on the side surface. The opening of this fuel outlet path 1c opens outward from the O-ring 12 in the extinguishing position, and therefore the fire pan 3b is insulated from the fuel tank 1a and the auxiliary fuel chamber 1c in the main body 1. However, at the ignition position, it moves below the O-ring 12 and communicates with the auxiliary fuel chamber 1c.

Therefore, an operation for ignition is performed, and the fuel outlet valve 3 descends within the piston chamber 1b, protrudes into the auxiliary fuel chamber 1c, compresses the head 11a of the fuel outlet body 11, and releases the contained fuel. When the fuel is squeezed out, the squeezed out fuel flows into the fire pan 36 through these fuel outlet paths 3c and 3d, and is connected to the file wheel 4 and the flint stone 6.

When the finger is released from the finger grip part 2b, the fuel outlet valve 3 rises again to the extinguishing position due to the elastic force of the spring 8, but at this time, due to the negative pressure generated as the piston part 3a retreats, the fire pan part 3b, the fuel remaining in the fuel outlet paths 3c and 3d is collected again into the auxiliary fuel chamber 1c, and the fire is extinguished at the same time.

In addition, the main body 1 has a ventilation groove 1d and a ventilation hole 1e.
It is recommended that the operating rod 2 be provided with a ventilation groove 2f, and the fuel outlet valve 3 be provided with a ventilation groove 3e, and communicated with each other at the ignition position to balance the internal pressure of the fuel tank 1a with the outside air.

This will prevent the internal pressure from becoming lower than the outside air and failing to ignite, or the flame becoming gradually shorter during ignition, or conversely preventing the internal pressure from becoming too high and causing fuel to spray out during ignition. It is.
