In general, a ceiling-suspended air conditioner has a heat exchanger 2, a compressor 3, a blower 4, etc. disposed on its bottom plate 1, as shown in FIG. 1, and also has a suction port 5. A soundproof plate 6 for the compressor 3 is provided. As a result, indoor air is sucked in through the suction port 5 by the operation of the blower 4,
This is heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 2 and then supplied into the room.

However, in the past, the soundproof plate 6 was fixed to the bottom plate 1 by spot welding or the like, so the soundproof plate 6 could not be removed and the inside of the air conditioner could not be seen. For this reason, maintenance and inspection of the internal parts of the air conditioner has become extremely troublesome.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIGS. 2 to 5. In the figure, reference numeral 11 denotes a main body of a ceiling-suspended air conditioner, and this main body 11 is suspended from the ceiling by hanging members 12. Inside the main body 11, a heat exchanger 13, a blower 14, a compressor 15, and a soundproof plate 16 as a soundproof member having a U-shaped cross section are arranged. Further, a suction port 18 is bored in the bottom plate 17 of the main body 11 and is located between the heat exchanger 13 and the compressor 15. The soundproof board 16 has a bent portion 19 at its lower end,
By being inserted into the main body 11 through the suction port 18, the bent portions 19 overlap the peripheral edge of the suction port 18, and the bent portions 19 are fixed to the bottom plate 17 with screws 20. It is removably attached.

Therefore, when inspecting the inside of the main body 11 of the air conditioner, remove the screws 20, remove the soundproof plate 16, and inspect internal parts such as the compressor 15 and evaporator 13 inside the main body 11 from the suction port 18. Do the following.

As described above, since the soundproof plate 16 can be removed, the internal parts inside the main body 11 can be easily seen through the suction port 18, and internal maintenance and inspection can be easily performed.

On the other hand, a four-way switching valve 21, an outdoor heat exchanger 22, automatic expansion valves 23 and 24, and an indoor heat exchanger 25 are sequentially connected to the compressor 15 via refrigerant pipes to form a heat pump type refrigeration cycle. ing.
The automatic expansion valves 23, 24 are bypassed by bypass pipes 27, 28 having check valves 25, 26. On the other hand, a hot pipe 29 is connected to the discharge side of the compressor 15.
9 is inserted through the outdoor heat exchanger 22 and then connected to the inflow side of the automatic expansion valve 24 (the outflow side of the check valve 26). Further, a recess 30 is formed at the lower end of the outdoor heat exchanger 22, and the hot pipe 29 is inserted into the recess 30.

During heating operation, the gas refrigerant discharged from the compressor 15 is sent to the outdoor heat exchanger 22 via the four-way switching valve 21 as shown by the broken line arrow, where it is heat-radiated and condensed, and then passed through the check valve 26. The air is then sent to the automatic expansion valve 24 through which it is expanded, and then sent to the outdoor heat exchanger 25 where it is evaporated and then sucked into the compressor 15. On the other hand, during this operation, a part of the discharged refrigerant gas discharged from the compressor 15 continues to flow into the hot pipe 29 and is passed through the outdoor heat exchanger 2.

As explained above, in the present invention, the soundproofing member of the compressor is inserted into the suction port of the main body of the air conditioner and is removably attached. Therefore, when inspecting the inside of the main body, the soundproofing member can be removed and the soundproofing material can be removed from the suction port of the main body. This has the effect that maintenance and inspection are extremely easy since the internal parts inside can be looked into.
