In the known crawler tracks used in tracked vehicles, a large number of links are connected to each other in an endless manner by pins, and each connection part is equipped with a structure to prevent dirt, etc. from entering the bearing part. Usually, a sealing material is fitted. However, it is not easy to fit these sealants. In other words, between two links to be connected, even if a sealant is inserted into one link and then the other link is overlapped with the sealant, the sealant always protrudes outward from the side of the link, and the link and link Since the clearance at the joining portion between the sealing material and the sealing material is extremely small, when the two are superposed, the protruding sealing material is necessarily contacted from the radial direction and shearing pressure is applied to it. Therefore, it was unavoidable to use a special jig to recess the above-mentioned sealing material in the axial direction (into the annular recess of the link) and then connect the links to each other. Needless to say, it requires skill and labor.

However, in the case of sealing materials designed to withstand harsh work, despite the assembly work using the above-mentioned special jig, there is a possibility that some parts of the sealing material may be damaged. Although this was considered to be unavoidable to some extent, the chances of damage are relatively high, and as a result, dirt and sewage can get inside the pins and bushings from the affected areas, promoting wear and rust. It was the cause of this.

In view of these circumstances, the present invention has succeeded in obtaining a good crawler track as a result of an attempt to radically improve the tracker. The link includes one link in each connecting portion having a generally ring shape as a whole, and a bulging portion having a smaller diameter than the pin bulging out in the axial direction approximately at the center of the inner peripheral surface of the pin hole; Moreover, the pin hole gradually expands from the bulge toward the side opening, and the tapered elastic sealing material is fitted so that the diameter of the side opening expands to at least the same diameter as the pin or larger. The present invention relates to a method of assembling a crawler track in which the sealing material is expanded and expanded in the width direction by inserting a pin into the pin hole of the sealing material after the other link is superimposed on the crawler track.

Further, the present invention provides a ring-shaped elastic body used for assembling the above crawler track, which has a bulge portion having a smaller diameter than the pin bulging out in the axial direction approximately at the center of the inner peripheral surface of the pin hole. Moreover, the pin hole gradually expands from the bulge toward the side opening, and the diameter of the side opening is tapered so that it expands to at least the same diameter as the pin or larger. It also relates to sealing materials.

The specific content of the present invention will be explained below based on an illustrated embodiment. 1 is a link, 4 is an adjacent link whose one end is attached to link 1,
Reference numeral 6 indicates a pin for interconnecting the links 1 and 4, and 7 indicates a sealing material. The link 1 has an insertion hole 2 for a pin 6 and a circular recess 3 on one side of the insertion hole. Meanwhile another link 4
It has integrally a bush 5 at its connecting position through which the pin 6 described above is inserted.

Further, the entire sealing material 7 has a substantially ring shape,
As shown in FIG. 1, a bulging portion 7 having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the pin 6 (inner diameter of the insertion hole 2) A2 toward the axial direction is approximately at the center of the inner peripheral surface of the pin hole through which the pin 6 is inserted.
a (A2>A1), and the bulged portion 7a
The pin hole gradually expands toward the side opening, and the diameter of the side opening is tapered so that it is at least the same diameter as the pin 6 or larger (in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1). is formed in an arc shape with the central bulge 7a as the apex), and
A soft material made of polyurethane resin whose thickness B1 is smaller than the depth B2 of the concave hole 3 of the link 1 is used, and a V-shaped groove 7b is formed in the outer circumferential direction, so that it protrudes to the left and right sides. Pieces 7c and 7d are each shaped.

尚、上記シール材7の材質については上記のほ

As for the material of the sealing material 7, in addition to the above materials, polyester, Teflon, or a resin compound made by adding silicon to polyurethane may be used as long as it has appropriate hardness, resilience, and abrasion resistance. In addition, various design changes can be made to the shape as shown in FIGS. 3A to 3E.

Therefore, even if the sealing material 7 is to be fitted into the recess 3 of one of the links 1 as shown in FIG. 1, it can be easily fitted because its diameter is A4 > A3 .
Also, when the other link 4 is superposed on the link 1 described above, the thickness of the sealing material 7 is B 2 > B 1
Therefore , there is no problem at all, and when the pin 6 is inserted through both of them after completely overlapping them, the inner diameter of the sealing material 7 is as shown in FIG . The sealing material 7 is forcibly expanded by the pin 6 to the size of A2 .

As a result of the further expanded sealing material 7 having its inward protrusion 7a pressed by the pin 6, the upper protrusion pieces 7c and 7d abut against the peripheral wall surface of the recessed hole 3 and move in the width direction along the pin 6. bulges out and exceeds B 1 to B 2 , and further, at position B 3 , one side of it is brought into resilient pressure contact with the side wall surface of the concave hole of link 1, and the other side is brought into resilient pressure contact with the side wall surface of link 4. be able to. The performance of the crawler track in which each part of the link is manufactured using the above-mentioned assembly method is particularly good, especially when compared to the conventional sealing material in which the sealing material has only a repulsion force in the width direction. Since it also has a biasing force, the sealing effect is not only perfect, but it is also much easier to work with than when fitting a sealing material that has been given a resilient force in the width direction. Moreover, there is no chance of damaging the part of the sealing material that protrudes laterally during the process of assembling the link. Furthermore, by forming a V-shaped groove on the outer periphery of the sealing material, the left and right protruding pieces can be further expanded and expanded in the width direction when compressed in the axial direction. , which has various beneficial effects.
