で、図示の化粧板は石積模様が多色塗装されたも
のである。この図示の化粧板は先の実施例1に対
応するもので、被塗物である基材に石積模様がエ
ンボス加工されたフレキシブルボードを用いて、
第1工程としてフローコーターにより被塗物全面
にアイボリーグレーの塗料を塗り、第2工程とし
てスポンジロールにより該被塗物の目地の模様部
分を除くほヾ全面にブルーの塗料を塗り、第3工
程として硬度40゜のゴムロールにより被塗物の第
2工程よりもやゝ小さい面積に薄紫色の塗料を塗
り、第4工程として硬度60゜のゴムロールにより
被塗物の第3工程よりも小さい面積に白色の塗料
を塗り、最終の第5工程として金属ロールにより
被塗物の最凸状部のみに白色の塗料を塗つて造ら
れた。使用した塗料はアクリルウレタン樹脂系塗
料である。この様にして塗装が完了した化粧板は
図示の様に5色塗りの石積模様を有した優れた意
匠的模様が塗装され、内外装材として有効に使用
でき、この化粧板を左右上下に連続して建物の内
外壁に取付施工するときに、好適な石積模様をも
つた内外壁が得られる。
