In the heating chamber of a conventional microwave oven, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a front plate 2 having a viewing window 1, a bottom plate 3 having a cross-sectional shape, a top plate 4, and a rear plate 5 are connected at respective joints. A heating chamber 6 was formed by forming a seam fold, joining each component using the seam fold, and then coating the inner surface of the heating chamber 6 with a resin paint 7. In this method, since painting is performed after the heating chamber 6 is assembled, there are disadvantages in that the overall shape becomes large, the number of lots cannot be increased, and the cost of the painting line increases.

The present invention is such that before assembling the heating chamber components, the parts to be caulked are masked and painted, and then a plurality of component parts are caulked using the aforementioned caulking parts. By doing so, the painting line can be made smaller and the number of lots can be increased.

In the present invention, masking A is applied to the caulked parts of the components of the front plate 2, bottom plate 3, top plate 4, and rear plate 5 (which may be done before or after press molding),
After that, resin paint 7 is applied to the necessary surfaces.

Furthermore, since the component parts are painted before the heating chamber 6 is assembled, the painting line does not become large.

As described above, the present invention provides a heating chamber manufacturing method for a microwave oven in which a heating chamber is formed by joining a plurality of component parts by caulking, in which the parts to be caulked are masked before assembling the heating chamber. After that, multiple components are caulked together using the caulking section, which not only prevents leakage of radio waves from the joints, but also reduces the size of the painting line and reduces the number of lots. This can have a remarkable effect in that it is possible to reduce the cost by increasing the cost.
