すべく、粗悪な原木であつても、切削を円滑且つ
良好にせんとするにある。

削部による単板切削と、罫引ナイフによる罫引と
の両機能に著しく支障を生ずるのである。特に、
特公昭51−31559号公報の如く、罫引ナイフに糸
入れ機能を付加して、単板の切削と共に補強を行
わんとする技術などにおいては、その効果は著大
であるにも拘らず、前記切削トラブルの多発に阻
害されて、机上の空論と化しているのが実状であ
る。

(位置)で機能することによつて、原木の外周面
で発生し、切削トラブルの原因となる木片の欠落
を助長したり、仮に、木片の欠落があつたとして
も、該木片に関連することが防止できて、従来罫
引ナイフを設置した位置付近の切削部で多発して
いた切削トラブルの発生を著しく減少できるので
ある。
