である。そして、9がアイロン主体3の後方部に
配設したロツク装置である。上記ロツク装置9
は、合成樹脂より成形した押釦10と、この押釦
10に取着され、案内溝4の横溝部4bに対して
周壁部が出没するロツクピン11と、これら押釦
10およびロツクピン11を上方へ附勢する板ば
ね12とからなる。さらに述べると、押釦10か
らは、アイロン主体3の後方上面に形成した孔1
3を貫通する1対の脚片14が垂設されており、
また各脚片14の先端には入口巾を狭くした鍵穴
状の固定溝15が形成してある。一方、ロツクピ
ン11は上記脚片14と対向して径小部16をも
つ。このロツクピン11の取付けは、脚片14の
弾性を利用して固定溝15の入口巾を広げつつ同
固定溝15に径小部16を圧入することで行われ
るものである。もちろん、ロツクピン11の取付
けは押釦10の脚片14を孔13に貫通したあと
行われる。また板ばね12は一端がアイロン主体
3の下面にビス止めされ、遊端が脚片14間に位
置するロツクピン11の下部に弾接しているもの
である。17はアイロン主体3の両側縦方向に形
成されるとともに、一部を案内溝4の横溝部4b
まで至らせた溝にして、先のロツクピン11の端

斜面8はロツクピン11を一旦下動し、同突起6
の進行を許す。突起6が所定位置に達すると板ば
ね12の附勢力でロツクピン11が係止凹部7に
係合し、把手5をロツクするものである。この状
態がアイロン使用時の把手5の位置であり(第2
図、第7図ハ)、同把手5の後方への摺動で、温
度制御つまみ2の操作が可能となるとともに、ベ
ース1の先端も目視できてアイロン掛けを容易と
なす。このアイロン使用時において、把手5の後
方は押釦10の上方を略包囲しており、したがつ
て、同押釦10が誤つて押圧されて把手5のロツ
クが不用意に解消されることもなく、これにより

作的信頼性が著しく高まり、故障発生のおそれも

方の部材で包囲されるような形態となるため、使
用する際同操作釦の誤操作がなくなり、不用意な

け、上記一方の部材の側壁に形成した略L字状の

記操作釦を前記ロツクピンと一体的にその軸心と
平行に変位させることによつて、同ロツクピンを
前記案内溝に嵌合させることにより一方の部材に
対して昇降および前後方向に可動自在に取付けた
他方の部材の係止部と係脱し、さらに前記ロツク
ピンと係止部とが係合しているとき、操作釦を他
方の部材で包囲するようにしたロツク装置。1.
