Many of the products currently on the market use a system in which the top end emits light by collecting radiation from the vehicle's headlights, etc., so that it can function even when driving at night. .

Ta. For this reason, there is a problem in that it is difficult to grasp the positional relationship with the front end of the vehicle at night.

That is, it is a fender pole that is installed in front of a headlight or the like in a bumper of an automobile, and is mainly composed of a pole body that has light conductivity and a cover material that has light blocking properties that covers the front side of the pole body. The materials are joined together so as to expose the rear surface of the pole body, and a lighting section is formed on a part of the exposed surface to guide the emitted light from a headlight etc. to the pole body, and the upper part of the exposed surface is A light projection part is formed that can radiate the light passing through the inside of the pole body to the outside,
Further, the radiation surface of the light projecting part is provided with a finely uneven surface that can scatter and radiate the light passing through the inside of the pole body to the outside, and the cover material is provided with a fine uneven surface that can scatter and radiate the light passing through the inside of the pole body. The structure is such that windows are placed at appropriate locations to guide light.

In this case, since the light is scattered in the light projecting part over the range where the finely uneven surface is formed, the light emitting part covers a wide range and clearly informs the driver of the pole position. Moreover, according to the present invention, the emitted light from an oncoming vehicle can be taken into the pole body through the window of the cover material, and in other words, the light from other vehicles can be used in addition to the light from the own vehicle. The brightness increases further, making its position even clearer.

so that the rear and part of both sides are exposed.
Further, the lower part thereof is held so as to be exposed in a slit shape along the longitudinal direction. As a result, the exposed portion on the upper end side functions as a light projecting portion 5, and the portion below it functions as a lighting portion 6 for taking in the emitted light from the headlight or the like. Further, on the front surface of the cover material 2, window portions 7a and 7b each formed in a slit shape are opened at the top and bottom, and the emitted light from an oncoming vehicle is transmitted through the light projecting portion 5 and the daylighting portion 6, respectively. I can do it.
Further, the exposed surface of the light projecting portion 5 is formed with a wrinkled surface 8 having fine irregularities, so that light passing through the inside of the pole body 1 can be scattered. Furthermore, holding pieces 16, 16 are wrapped around the light projecting part 5 from the upper part of the cover material 2, and can reflect the emitted light from the headlight L or the like.

As will be described below, it is attached via a pole bracket 10, and this attachment portion is covered with a rubber cover 11. The pole bracket 10 is formed in a substantially U-shape, and one end thereof is fastened to a bumper reinforcement 12. The fender pole P is inserted into the other end of the pole bracket 10 from above through a washer 13 with the threaded portion 4 of the pole main body 1 interposed, and a cushion for adjusting the mounting angle of the fender pole P is inserted from the bottom side. It is fixed by tightening a nut 15 with a washer 14 in between.

光部5の視認性が向上される。 According to the present example formed as described above, when the headlight or the like L is turned on at night, the emitted light is introduced into the inside of the pole body 1 through the slit-shaped exposed surface of the lighting section 6. and,
It is guided upward while repeating reflection inside the pole body 1. Of the light guided into the light projecting section 5 in this way, the light that is incident on the grained surface 8 is diffusely reflected by the fine irregularities formed on the same surface, and is thus emitted to the outside as scattered light. Therefore, since diffused light can be obtained over almost the entire range of the grained surface 8,
The position of the fender pole P is clearly visible to the driver, and the position of the front end of the vehicle can be reliably determined. Further, since the light from the headlight L is reflected by both the holding pieces 16, 16 and a metallic color is emitted, the visibility of the light projecting section 5 is improved.

7b, light from an oncoming vehicle can be introduced into the light projection section 5 and the daylight section 6, respectively. In other words, by using the emitted light from the oncoming vehicle, the light projecting section 5 shines even more brightly, and the front end of the vehicle can be confirmed more reliably.

Extremely effective for position confirmation.
