A method is being considered. Namely, (1) a method in which a metal material is molded into an appropriate shape, then a resin layer is applied and a decoration is applied.
(2) A method in which a resin layer is placed on the surface of a metal material and a painting is applied.
However, all of these methods had drawbacks. In other words, in method (1), since a resin layer is applied to the molded article and the decoration is applied, it is necessary to apply the resin layer and the decoration according to the shape of the molded object, which reduces work efficiency, and furthermore, it is necessary to apply the resin layer and the decoration to the molded article. The drawback is that it is not possible to apply paintings to the deep parts of the valley.
In method (2), the resin layer must be formed using plastic resin in order to prevent cracks from occurring in the resin layer during molding, and as a result, only products with weak surface strength can be obtained. There were flaws.

That is, in the present invention, a resin layer 2 made of a thermosetting resin having a pencil hardness of 3H or higher in a completely cured state is formed on the surface of a metal plate 1, and after heating at a temperature at which the resin is semi-cured, the thermal transfer property is The surface of the resin layer 2 is painted using an ink containing the dye 3, and then a metal plate is molded into an appropriate shape, after which the heat-transferable dye 3 is transferred into the resin layer 2 and the surface of the resin layer 2 is painted. This is a method for producing a painted molded article, which is characterized by heating at a temperature at which the resin completely hardens.

First, a resin such as a thermosetting resin, an epoxy resin, or an acrylic-melamine resin, which has a hardness of 3H or more in a pencil hardness in a completely cured state, is applied to the surface of the metal plate 1 to be molded by a roll coating method, a flow coating method, or the like. The resin layer 2 is formed by applying by spraying, dipping, etc. (see FIG. 1). The reason why the thermosetting resin is selected is that these resins have excellent strength in the cured state and are completely cured at the temperature at which the heat-transferable dye described later is thermally transferred. Next, the resin is heated to semi-cure. Here, "semi-cured" means a state in which the resin does not interfere with painting and does not easily peel off from the surface of the metal plate 1 upon contact. The above-mentioned resin can be heated to a semi-cured state by heating at 80°C to 220°C for 30 minutes to 2 minutes.

Examples of the dyes used include disperse dyes, cationic dyes, and mordant dyes. The decoration is done by transfer printing, screen printing, etc. Hand-painted illustrations are also possible. (See Fig. 2) After the decoration is applied, the metal plate is formed into an appropriate shape by press molding or the like (see Fig. 3). After molding, heat again. In this case, heating is performed using the heat transferable dye 3.
The two purposes are to transfer the resin into the resin layer 2 and to completely cure the resin. For the above dyes and resins, 30% at 150℃ to 220℃
By heating for 3 minutes to 3 minutes, the dye is applied to the resin layer 2.
The resin is completely cured (see Figure 4).

に際して実用価値の高い製造法である。 Since the present invention is a method for manufacturing a decorated molded article as described above, a decorated molded article having excellent surface strength and a beautiful pattern even in small recesses can be obtained with high work efficiency. Therefore, it is a manufacturing method of high practical value when producing molded products with engraved designs on the surface or painted molded products such as cosmetic containers.
