The applicant has developed an innovative method for producing small kasuri fabrics, which could only be produced by yarn dyeing (printing on the woven fabric), using piece dyeing (printing on the finished woven fabric). After repeated research and development, we received a special patent application in 1983.
- We are implementing the method for manufacturing small kasuri textiles filed as No. 176327.

A paper-like underlay 3 is attached in a removable manner, and the woven fabric lined with this underlay 3 is placed on a transparent printing base plate 5 that has a transparent portion formed thereon at least at the position where the printing patterns 4 are sequentially placed. Then, applying a printing pattern 4 cut out from the pattern b to be expressed on the woven fabric and applying resist dyeing paste to the woven fabric is repeated over the entire length.
Turn it inside out with it still lined, peel off the underlay 3 by at least enough to place the printing pattern 4, apply light from below the transparent part, and have the same pattern with the printing pattern 4 used on the front side turned inside out. Printing pattern 4
is applied in accordance with the processed pattern b on the front side, and the process of applying resist dyeing paste to the back side is repeated over the entire length, and the front and back sides of this processed woven fabric are dyed in the desired color by dip dyeing, and then the resist dyeing paste is applied. It is characterized by the removal process, and the area where this resist dyeing paste has been removed expresses a pre-dyed white small kasuri pattern.

The underlay 3 is attached to a woven fabric in which a small Kasuri pattern a is formed by alternately arranging ground-colored threads and white threads in warp and weft, and resist dyeing paste is applied to the pattern b to be expressed with the printing pattern 4. Let it adhere, then turn the woven fabric in this state and apply the same process to the back side. Once the front and back sides of the woven fabric have been processed, dye the desired color by dip dyeing, and remove the resist dyeing paste. This means that a small kasuri fabric in which a yarn-dyed white kasuri pattern is expressed in the removed part can be produced much more easily than with conventional methods.

It is sufficient that a transparent portion exists at each position where the printing pattern paper 4 is placed.

As described above, the present invention weaves a woven fabric in which a small kasuri pattern of ground-colored threads and white is formed on the entire surface by a weaving structure in which ground-colored threads and white threads are alternately arranged in both warp and weft.
Resist dyeing paste is applied to the pattern shape that is to be expressed on the woven fabric, and parts other than the flower pattern that is to be expressed are dyed and printed using a dipping process, which is difficult to do with conventional yarn dyeing. It is very easy to work because it can be done by post-dying on the woven fabric rather than by dyeing, and if you dye the parts that have not been dyed, you can create a similar white small kasuri pattern (if you use light-colored thread, you can create a light-colored pattern). This means that small Kasuri patterns can be expressed.

The underlay prevents the woven fabric from shifting and facilitates the adhesion process on the front side, and when it is turned over to the back side, the woven fabric does not shift and is kept in a state where the resist dyeing paste is adhered. When attaching the back side, the underlay is peeled off in order to accommodate the printing pattern paper, so the underlay does not get in the way at all, and the adhesion process can be carried out extremely well.

る。 At this time, if the resist dyeing paste is not applied on the front and back in the same position correctly, for example, the background color of the back, such as blue, will protrude to the edges of the white small kasuri on the front, creating a contamination condition. In the invention, lighting is applied from below the transparent part, and the printing pattern is placed correctly in line with the applied resist dyeing paste that can be seen through the illumination, so that the resist dyeing paste is applied correctly on the front and back sides without shifting, and the printing pattern is placed correctly on the front and back sides. This is a piece of dyed kasuri in which the printing lines match perfectly.

る秀れた特徴を発揮する。 After that, all you have to do is remove the resist dyeing paste, and in this way, it is possible to express the small Kasuri pattern, which could only be created with a complicated yarn dyeing process, with a simple piece dyeing process, just like yarn dyeing, so the cost is lower. In addition, there is no need for kasuri matching such as yarn dyeing, and it exhibits an excellent feature that allows us to provide small ikat woven fabrics, which are almost the same as conventional ones, at a much lower price.
