ける磁気テープのガイド機能を備えた磁気ヘツド
装置に関するものである。

である。テープガイド4はコ字状に形成されて磁
気テープ3の上下動を規制するが、テープガイド
4の上下間隔は磁気テープ3の幅より広くしてい
る。このため、磁気テープ3の上下動幅は磁気テ
ープ3自身の幅変動とテープガイド4の上下間隔
と磁気テープ3の幅との差とが加わつたものとな
り、磁気テープ3の上下動はかなりなものとな
る。従つて、この磁気ヘツド装置を狭トラツク多
チヤンネルの記録再生装置に用いるとトラツクず
れを生じ記録再生特性が劣化する。

成される。9はピン10を介して磁気ヘツド1に

によつて磁気テープ3を傷付けることなく、磁気
テープ3を磁気ヘツド1に当接することができ
る。ここで、第4図に示すようにカセツトを挿入
すると、まず磁気テープ3がテープリード6と弾
性体7aとの間に挿入されて磁気ヘツド1に当接
され、次に弾性体支持体7がカセツトケース11
に押圧されてピン8を中心にして回動し、弾性体
7aの先端が下降して磁気テープ3の幅方向上端
に接触する。この時の接触圧は数gになつてお
り、磁気テープ3を損傷することはない。この結
果、磁気テープ3は走行時に譜方向両端をテープ
リ幅ド6および弾性体7aと接触して走行し、テ
ープ幅の変動は弾性体7aの変動によつて吸収さ
れる。従つて、磁気テープ3の上下動はほとんど
生じず、狭トラツク多チヤンネルの場合でも精度
の高いトラツキングが可能となる。又、テープリ
ード6、弾性体7aを有する弾性体支持体7およ
び復帰ばね9から成るテープガイド機構は構造簡
単で磁気ヘツド1への装着も容易であり、安価な
磁気ヘツド装置が得られる。なお、12はカセツ
トのパツドである。
