いて洗浄を試みているが、泥土などは人工芝の植
根部にこびりついているので、撤水車のシヤワー
などでは、洗い落とすだけの放水圧力が得られ
ず、またホースノズルでは非能率で広大な面積の
処理に対応できない。また、人工芝生は平たんな
土地に敷設されたものが多いので、せつかく洗い
落とした泥土等が場外に流出するのに時間がかか
りすぎ、実際の人工芝生上でそのような汚物が単
に移動しただけに過ぎないことが多い。

例によれば、この高圧水は作業車Aにけん引され
るタンク車B内の図示されていない給水タンクか
ら可撓ホースCをへて車載の小エンジンDで駆動
される高圧送水ポンプEにより、第3図に示した
固定配管Fをへて固定旋回継手31に供給される
ようになつている。
