本発明は、電子計算機の外部記憶装置である磁
気デイスク装置に関し、特に磁気デイスク装置の

従来、先端に磁気ヘツドを固着した磁気ヘツド
アームが回転運動することにより、磁気ヘツドを
磁気デイスク面の目的の位置に位置決めする様構
成された回転アーム方式の磁気デイスク装置にお
いては、磁気ヘツドアームに回転力をあたえるた
めに1対のカムとカムローラが用いられることが
多い。この位置決め系の一例を第1図により説明
すれば、磁気ヘツド1が磁気ヘツドアーム2に固
着されており、磁気ヘツドアーム2はピボツト軸
3を備えてこの軸まわりに自由に回転することが
出来るようになつている。また磁気ヘツドアーム
2にはカムローラ4(この場合ボールベアリン
グ)が取り付けられており、ステツプモータ6の
回転軸に取り付けられているカム5の外周曲面に
スプリング7の初期回転力により接している。ピ
ボツト回転中心軸、ローラ回転中心軸、及びステ
ツプモータ回転中心軸は互いにすべて平行となる
様構成されている。この様に構成される位置決め
系において、ステツプモータが定常回転している
ときにはカム外周曲面をカムローラが回転して移
動し、それらの接触面ではすべりを生じない。し
かし、ステツプモータが定常回転から停止する場
合、カムは過渡振動を起こしカムとカムローラの
接触面ですべりを生じる。このすべりにより接触
面から塵埃が発生し、これが磁気ヘツドと磁気デ
イスクのわずかな隙間に入り込んでヘツドクラツ

1図に示されたものと同様である。ただし、第1
図に示されたカムローラ4とカム5がその軸方向
に沿つて互いに反対方向に磁化されている。第2
図にこのカムローラ4とカム5の接触部の横断面
図を示す。カムローラ4(本例の場合ボールベア
リング)がローラ軸9に入れられスペーサ10を
かいして磁気ヘツドアーム2に固定ネジ11で固
定されている。カム5はステツプモータ6の回転
軸にナツト12で固定され、ステツプモータ6は
磁気デイスク装置本体8に取り付けられている。
本例におけるカム5は上面がN極、下面がS極と
なる様磁化され、カムローラ4は上面がS極、下
面がN極となる様磁化されている。この磁力によ
りカムローラ4の外周円筒面はカム5の外周曲面
に吸着し、ステツプモータの過渡振動状態におい
てもその接触面ですべりを生じなくなり、塵埃を
