This involves fixing an elastic piece to a supporting material that supports the panel, forming an engaging piece on the side edge of each panel, and elastically fitting the engaging piece of an adjacent panel into the elastic piece. In addition to ensuring sealing performance between the panels, the back surface of the panel is supported by the supporting material so that the panel does not move back even if the panel is pushed.

On the other hand, such panels are usually formed by pasting an appropriate plasterboard, etc. on the back side of a standardized panel outer panel (front panel), and the overall thickness of the panel may vary. In the case of conventional panels, the back side of each panel is supported by a support material, so if the thickness of the panels differs, it may not be possible to reliably support the back side with the support material, or the relationship between the panels may be affected. This has the drawback that the joint piece cannot be fitted to the elastic piece, resulting in poor sealing performance.

First, the panel 8a used for the inside corner is formed by bending the surface plate 9' into a substantially L-shaped cross section at the substantially central portion, and further bending both ends thereof toward the back side. The hook-shaped engagement piece 11 on the edge is press-fitted into the engagement groove 13b of the connecting member 13 together with the hook-shaped engagement piece 11 of the other adjacent panel 8 to be connected. At this time, as the backing material 12', for example, asbestos or glass wool may be used.

Therefore, according to these embodiments, first,
After fixing the fixing member 16 to the wall base 15, an appropriate connecting member 13 is installed so that the back surface of the lining material 12 is surely supported by contacting one of the supporting pieces 13c depending on the thickness of the lining material 12 of the panel 8. It is selected and fitted onto the fixing member 16. Next, after moving the screw rod 14 and determining the position of the fixing member 16 so that the panels 8, 8... are flat when installed, the hook of the panel 8 is inserted into the engagement groove 13b of the connecting member 13. By engaging the shaped engagement pieces 11, the wall surface of the bathroom 4 can be easily configured.

FIG. 6 shows a case where a partition part that partitions a bathroom 4 and a room adjacent to the bathroom 4 is formed using the installation structure of the present invention, and is fixed to a floor rail 17 laid on the floor 5. A column-shaped fixing member 16 fixed with a bolt 18, and this fixing member 16
After attaching the connecting members 13, 13 to the fixing member 16' fixed back to back in the same manner as described above, the hook-shaped engaging pieces of the adjacent panels 8, 8 are inserted into the engaging grooves 13b of these connecting members 13. 11, 11 are engaged with each other, and the panels 8 are arranged back to back via fixing members 16, 16' (see FIG. 7).

As described above, if the wall portion 6 or the ceiling portion 7 of the bathroom 4 is formed using the installation structure of the bathroom panel 8 according to the present invention, the bent edges 10 where the hook-shaped engaging pieces 11 are formed are connected to each other. Since no additional sealing work is required at these parts, the number of parts that require sealing work can be reduced, and the back surface of the lining material 12 of each panel 8 is supported by one support piece 13c of the connecting member 13. Therefore, the installation strength can be increased.
In this case, the joints between the wall 6 and the ceiling 7 of the bathroom 4, and between the wall 6 and the floor 5 or the bathtub 1 are provided with a watertight structure as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10. , it suffices to maintain sealing performance at the relevant location.

That is, there is a gap 21 between the bent edge 10 of the surface plate 9 of the panel 8 forming the wall portion 6 and the backing material 12.
, and the engagement leg 2 inserted into this gap 21
2a and the above-mentioned bent edge 10 are fitted, the groove portion 22b is formed.
A seal receiving member 22 consisting of a panel 8 disposed on the ceiling 7 and a joint 22c that contacts the baseboard 23 of the floor 5 or the bathtub 1 is prepared, and the engaging leg 22a of this seal receiving member 22 is attached to the panel. After engaging in the gap 21 between the bent edge 10 of No. 8 and the lining material 12 and bringing the joint portion 22c into close contact with the mating portion to be joined, fill the joint portion with the sealing material 24 from the bathroom 4 side. This makes it possible to maintain watertightness at the joints between the upper and lower ends of the wall portion 6.

As is clear from the above description, according to the bathroom panel installation structure according to the present invention, the hook-shaped engagement piece formed on each panel can be inserted between the panels by pressing the connecting member into the engagement groove. As a result, both hook-shaped engagement pieces formed on the bent edges of each panel elastically expand in opposite directions within the engagement grooves and are respectively engaged and clamped within the engagement grooves. and are concatenated. Therefore, the bent edges of the two sides that come into contact with each other are strongly pressed against each other by the elastic force of the hook-shaped engagement piece, so the sealing performance is improved, and as a result, the folded edges that form the hook-shaped engagement piece are Since additional sealing work is not required at the joints between the curved edges, the number of parts that require sealing work can be reduced. Furthermore, since the panels are connected to each other by the connecting members, the connecting work can be simplified.

In addition, the connecting member is attached to the fixed member fixed to the wall base, and one support piece of the connecting member supports the back of the lining material by abutting it, so even if the panel is pushed, the panel will move back. Panels can be installed reliably without having to do anything.

Furthermore, the above-mentioned connecting member is not integrally fixed to the fixing member in advance, but can be appropriately selected and attached according to the panel used, so that the connecting member has engagement pieces with different thicknesses. By using the above-mentioned panel appropriately, one of the engaging pieces of the connecting member can be brought into contact with the back surface of the backing material of the panel, and no matter what thickness of the backing material the panel has, it can be ensured that the In addition to being able to support the back side, appropriate connecting members can be selected and used depending on the thickness of the panel at the installation site.
Workability can also be improved.

Moreover, by fitting the connecting member with a gap formed between the connecting member and the bottom of the mounting groove of the fixing member, the connecting member can be fitted in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the fixing member
In other words, since it is attached so that it can slide in the width direction of the panel, variations in the width direction of the panel can be reduced.
It can be absorbed by sliding the connecting member, and the installation efficiency can be further improved.
