In general, this type of connection device has a large number of contact pieces arranged in parallel in order to facilitate pull-out and push-in connections and also to allow large currents to pass through.
A terminal conductor is inserted into this contact piece. Therefore, the structure tends to be complicated and requires a lot of effort to assemble. Furthermore, because of the complicated structure, it has been difficult to mass-produce devices with stable quality with little variation.

Next, fit the push spring 5 and wedge 4 into the head 3D side of the spring holder 3, insert this spring holder 3 between the rows fitted with the second spacers 8, and insert the pull-out fitting for assembly into the pull-out hole 3E. (not shown), the pressure spring 5 is compressed and the lower wedge hole 3C shown comes out on the back surface 2E of the contact piece 2, so insert the wedge 4 into this wedge hole 3C. . The relationship between the length of the wedge hole 3C and the width of the wedge 4 is such that when the push spring 5 is compressed during assembly as described above, the other wedge hole 3C fully protrudes from the back surface 2E of the contact piece 2. The length of the wedge hole 3C is increased to the extent that it can be used.

Next, when this connecting device is fixed to the breaker terminal conductor 11, the breaker terminal conductor 11 is inserted between one side of the plurality of pairs of contact pieces 2. Due to this insertion, the support shaft 7 moves slightly outward in the open support groove 1C. Both ends of the fixture 9 are engaged with the fixture engagement grooves 1D of the bracket portion 1B, and tightened with machine screws 10 so as to clamp the inserted disconnector conductor 11. In this case, the bus bar attachment hole 11A of the terminal conductor 11 is used for attachment.

As described above, the breaker main body equipped with the terminal connecting device is mounted on the drawer, and the terminal conductor 12 of the drawer is connected to the terminal connecting device. In this case, the coupling is inserted between the other sides of the plurality of pairs of contact pieces 2 arranged. This insertion compresses the pressure spring 5, and the contact piece 2 comes into contact with the terminal conductor 12 due to the compression force of the pressure spring 5.

According to the terminal connection device configured as above,
The support shaft 7 can be inserted into the bracket portion 1B of the frame 1 with the support shaft 7 inserted through the plurality of pairs of contact pieces 2, and in the assembled state, the support shaft 7 is prevented from moving in the axial direction by the collar portion 7A. There is no need to incorporate detent parts. Further, the push spring 5 is fitted into the spring holder 3, inserted between the rows of the contact pieces 2, and attached with the wedge 4.

In addition, since the support shaft of the contact piece is movable in the open support groove, the above-mentioned simple structure and easy assembly are combined with less variation in the contact state with the terminal conductor, resulting in stable quality terminal connection. It has many effects such as becoming a device.
