The conventionally used operable skylight on a sloped roof is a window in which a shoji screen is fitted into the window frame so that it can be opened and closed, and is installed parallel to the roof surface with the window protruding outward from the sloped roof surface. With conventional skylights like this, rainwater flowing along the water side of the skylight is blocked by the skylight upper frame that protrudes from the roof surface, and after it stagnates there, it flows down along both the left and right sides of the skylight. However, there was a drawback in that careful measures had to be taken to ensure watertightness between the skylight and the roof, especially the watertightness of the upper frame.

The present invention provides an opening/closing skylight that can eliminate the accumulation of rainwater in the upper frame part and improve watertightness. The present invention is characterized by the fact that in the window mounting opening opened in the sloped roof, the window frame is fitted with a shogi screen. A tight part provided on the window frame to be fitted so that it can be opened and closed and to maintain watertightness between the window frame and the shoji when the shoji is closed, and a tight part provided on the shoji that is to be in pressure contact with the tight part of the window frame. A window is installed, and the outdoor side surface of the upper end of the window is located on the same level as the roof surface above the window mounting opening or on the indoor side thereof, and the window frame is tight at the lower end of the window. The pressure contact surface between the shoji and the shoji gawa tight part is located at the top of the slope that allows rainwater to flow down to the roof surface below the window mounting opening, and the upper horizontal gutter is installed on the upper frame of the window frame.
A vertical gutter communicating with the horizontal gutter is formed on the left and right vertical frames, and the vertical gutter opens to the outside air on the outdoor side and extends to the lower end of the window frame, and the vertical gutter opens in the direction of inclination on the lower frame side. A space is formed on the upper surface of the wing wall between the lower frame and the lower stile of the shoji, and the space is located at a place where the sloped roof side is open to the outside air.

The mounting structure of the skylight 1 as described above is as follows. As shown in the third figure, a plurality of approximately O-shaped support fittings 41 are fixed to the upper surface of the window mounting opening S using bolts 42, and the upper end of the natural 1 (in this example, the upper frame) is attached to the outside of the window mounting opening S. The upper frame 2 is fixed with screws 43 while the side surface is located almost on the same plane as the sloped roof surface above the opening S, and a plurality of support fittings 44 are fixed to the lower surface of the opening S with bolts 45... The hollow sleeve wall 2 of the lower frame 3 is attached to the support fittings 44...

Reference numeral 53 denotes a closing plate having a substantially O-shaped cross section that covers the gap between the left and right vertical frames 4 and 5 of the window and the roof surface, and has one end placed under the waterproof sheet 51 and the other end used to close the window. It is fixed to the left and right vertical frames 4 and 5 through brackets 54 with screws 55. The protruding height of the closing plate 53 from the roof surface is gradually increased from the height H1 at the upper end in the slope direction to the height H2 at the lower end in accordance with the slope of the window, as shown in the third figure. There is. 56 is a sealing material.

Reference numeral 57 indicates a water return projecting from the inclined upper surface of the arm wall 26 of the lower frame 3, which is located at a lower position than the horizontal plane passing through the tip of the lower tight wall 28, and is located between the inclined upper surface of the arm wall 26 of the lower frame 3 and the shoji. A space is formed between the lower stile 8 and the space is open to the outside air on the sloped side of the roof. 58 is a draining cover fixed to the lower stile 8 of the shoji
The tip thereof is made to hang down close to the tip of the water returner 57.

When it rains on a roof with one skylight like the one above, the rainwater flowing on the roof surface above the water of the skylight does not stagnate in any way and flows as it is on the outdoor side of skylight 1, and then flows onto the roof surface below the water of the skylight. It will flow down. Also, even if rainwater enters between the drain cover 58 and the water return 57, the wing wall 2 slopes downward from the lower tight wall 28 toward the water lower side roof surface.
6, the rainwater will accumulate near the lower tight wall 28 and will not flow into the room when the shoji is opened, and the upper horizontal gutter, downspout, and space on the lower frame side will all have equal pressure. Because of this, even just one layer of tightness can prevent water from leaking into the room due to pressure differences.

When condensation occurs on the indoor side surface of the glass 12 of the shoji, the condensed water flows down the inclined glass 12 surface, falls on the condensed water receiving plate 29, and then passes through the check valve 31 and drains from the drain hole 32. The water is discharged onto the roof.

According to the retractable skylight of the present invention, rainwater flowing down the roof surface on the water side of the skylight quickly flows down the outdoor surface of the skylight without stagnation in any way.
The water can then flow down to the roof surface below the skylight, and the upper horizontal gutter, downspout, and space on the bottom frame side are all at equal pressure, so even just one layer of tightness can prevent water from leaking into the room due to pressure differences. As a result, it is possible to easily ensure watertightness between the skylight and the roof, especially between the upper end of the skylight and the roof. Since the press-contact surfaces of the frame and shoji tight parts are in an inclined position relative to the lower roof surface that allows rainwater to flow down, residual rainwater will not flow into the room when the shoji is opened.
