本発明は天然ゴム又は合成ゴムを素材して、こ
れら素材を成形型を用いて成形することによつて

際して多大の人手と時間を必要とし、製造コスト
の高騰を招くと共に、接着部分において破損し易
く、継目が目に付き易く美観が損われるという欠

型4内に配した後、成形型7の雄型5を前記雌型
4に合わせると共に熱加硫を施してキヤツプ状に
一体成形された水泳帽を製造することを特徴とす

較的硬質な材質の円環状ゴム素材3bとを相接触
状態に配して成り、全体としては円板状を呈する
ものである。これらゴム素材3a,3bは天然ゴ
ム又は合成ゴムにより形成され、例えばシリコン
ゴムの場合にはシリカの混入量を加減し、その量
を多くすることにより硬質ゴム素材3bを、少な
くすることにより軟質ゴム素材3aを夫々構成し
ている。又天然ゴムの場合には、カーボンの混入
量の増減により硬さを調整できる。又これらのゴ
ム素材3a,3bには、一定温度以上で熱加硫作

7の雌型4内に配される。而して雄型5を降下さ
せて第4図に示すような状態とした後、ゴム素材
3a,3bに熱を加えると、ゴム素材3a,3b
は溶融状態となつて前記成形空間6内に拡がり、
両ゴム素材3a,3bは境界部で相融合して一体
となる。又前記加硫剤による熱加硫作用によりゴ
ム弾性が付与される。このゴムの弾力は、上記両
ゴム素材3a,3bの性質に従つて、完成品Aの
周縁部2aが大となり、中央部1aが小となる。
冷却後、ゴム素材3a,3bはキヤツプ状に展延
せしめられると共に、両者は一体融合して、第1
図に示すような完成品Aが得られる。前記加熱温

ることにより所定の箇所に所定の硬度を付与する

ム硬度を変え、ゴム弾性による縮径率の差を設け
ることにより解決している。従つて本発明により
製造された水泳帽は泳者の頭に常にフイツトした
