DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides an endoscope in which a treatment tool such as forceps, which is introduced into a body cavity through an insertion channel of the endoscope, can be lifted up and the direction of the treatment tool can be selected. The present invention relates to a treatment instrument lifting device.

In general, endoscopes are used not only to simply observe the inside of a body cavity, but also to use the insertion channel to introduce various treatment tools into the body cavity to treat affected areas and collect tissue. be. and,
At the exit of the insertion channel at the tip of the insertion section of the endoscope, a lifting stand is provided to regulate the direction in which the treatment instrument is led out, and by operating this lifting stand with an operating wire, the lifting stand can be rotated, for example. death,
The direction in which the treatment instrument is led out can be selected.
The operating wire is guided to the operating section of the endoscope through a guide tube whose tip is opened in the outlet, and is pushed and pulled by an operating mechanism on the operating section. .

However, in the above structure, a gap inevitably occurs between the operating wire and the guide tube, and since this gap is exposed at the outlet, there is a drawback that dirt and sewage can enter and accumulate in the gap. Such a situation not only hinders the lifting operation, but is also unsanitary and difficult to clean. In particular, if dirt or the like intrudes into the operating section through the gap, the entire operating section must be dismantled and cleaned, which is extremely troublesome.

Reference numeral 1 in FIG. 1 is an insertion section of an endoscope, and an illumination window and an observation window (not shown) are provided on the upper side of the distal end component 2 of this insertion section 1, and illumination light is transmitted through the illumination window into the body cavity. The inside of the body cavity can be observed through an observation window. An insertion channel 3 for guiding a treatment instrument such as forceps is provided in the insertion section 1.
An elevating chamber 5, which will be described later, is continuously formed at the outlet 4. Further, the proximal end side of the insertion channel 3 is guided to an operation section (not shown) of the endoscope, and is connected to an insertion port provided in the operation section.

Furthermore, a stepped portion 9 that is continuous with the raising chamber 5 is formed on the rear end side of the opening of the raising chamber 5 . A hollow elastic stretchable body 10 is installed within this stepped portion 9. This elastic stretchable body 10 has an elastic cylindrical main body 11, and a linear member, for example, a glass fiber 12, as a core material is attached along the outer periphery of the main body 11 in the longitudinal direction.
. . , and a disc-shaped stopper 13 is attached to the tip of the main body 11 to fix it. Note that the glass fibers 12 may be embedded within the thickness of the main body 11 as shown in FIG. The rear end of the main body 11 is attached and fixed to the wall surface 9a of the stepped portion 9, and the inside of the main body 11 is sealed from the outside. Moreover, the main body 11 is attached so that its longitudinal direction protrudes toward the elevator platform 6 side.

Further, the stopper 13 of the elastic stretchable body 10 and the rotating end of the raising table 6 are connected by a connecting wire 14. Then, as will be described later, by expanding and contracting the elastic stretchable body 10, the elevating base 6 is rotated by pushing and pulling it through the connecting wire 14.

connected in communication. This pressure supply pipe 15 is led to the operating section of the endoscope through the insertion section 1, and furthermore, the end of this pressure supply pipe 15 on the operating section side is connected to a pressure fluid supply device (not shown). ing. Pressurized fluid (gas or liquid) is supplied to and discharged from the pressure pipe 15 by, for example, operating a valve in the operating section, thereby causing the elastic stretchable body 10 to expand and contract in its longitudinal direction.

First, in a normal state in which no pressure fluid is supplied to the elastic extensible body 10, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, it stretches linearly due to its own elastic restoring force, and the elevating table 6 is pushed down. It is in a prone state. In this state, a treatment instrument, such as forceps, is introduced through the insertion channel 3 and is projected into the body cavity from the opening of the raising chamber 5 along the guide surface 7 of the raising table 6.

When raising the forceps, pressurized fluid is supplied from a pressure fluid supply device to the inside of the elastic stretchable body 10 via the pressure pipe 15. As a result, the elastic stretchable body 10 expands as shown in FIG. 6, and at the same time contracts in its longitudinal direction. In other words,
The main body 11 of the elastic stretchable body 10 tries to stretch in all directions, especially in its longitudinal direction, but it does not stretch in the longitudinal direction because the glass fibers 12 are fixed to the stoppers 13 and the wall surface 9a, respectively. Since the glass fibers 12 expand only in the perpendicular lateral circumferential direction, they contract in the longitudinal direction. Accordingly, depending on the degree of expansion, the rotating end of the raising base 6 is pulled via the connecting wire 14, and the raising base 6 can be rotated to raise the forceps.
By supplying and discharging pressurized fluid to and from the elevating table 6 and changing the supply pressure as appropriate, the amount of elevating the elevating table 6, that is, the rotation angle thereof, can be changed, and the direction in which the treatment instrument is led out can be selected. Although the elevator in the above embodiment is pivotably mounted, the present invention is not limited to this, and may be configured to move back and forth (slide).

As explained above, the present invention provides a hollow elastic extensible body on the elevating chamber side, connects this elastic extensible body and the elevating table, and supplies and discharges pressurized fluid to and from the elastic extensible body via a pressure pipe. The elevating platform is operated by expanding and contracting the elastic stretchable body. Therefore, unlike the conventional method in which the elevator is operated via an operating wire that is inserted into the insertion tube of the endoscope, there is no gap created, which prevents dirt from entering and making it unsanitary. In addition, there is no need to carry out large-scale cleaning processes. In addition, the operation part will not be clogged with dirt or the like and will not interfere with the operation. In addition, since the lifting operation is performed using pressure fluid, there is no friction unlike when operating wires are used, and no matter how bent the pressure pipe is, it can be operated reliably. Moreover, smooth operation is possible. Also,
Since the treatment instrument is guided by the raising table and there is no need for the treatment instrument to touch the elastic extensible body itself, it is durable and can be used with peace of mind.
