本発明はポンプ室に流入する流水の中に混入さ
れた木片、プラスチツク片、紐、ビニール袋等の
ゴミを効率良く除去してポンプ室の底部にこれ等
が堆積されること及びポンプに障害が発生するこ
とを防止し、かつスクリーンで集積されたゴミを
簡単に除去することを可能とした除塵マンホール
付ポンプ室に係り、更に詳しくはポンプ室の側方
隣接地にマンホールを埋設し、かつこのマンホー
ルとポンプ室とを連通管によつて相互に連結する
と共に流入管の端部を該マンホールに連結し、更
に前記マンホール内にゴミ除去用のスクリーンを
取付けて構成したことを特徴とした除塵マンホー

第2図に於いて、1はポンプ室であつて、底版
2、直壁管3、斜壁管4、蓋枠5、蓋6等より構
成され、その底部にはポンプ設置台7の上にポン
プ8が設置されている。次に9はこのポンプ室1
に隣接した場所に埋設されたマンホールであつ
て、前記ポンプ室1と同様に底版2′、直壁管
3′、斜壁管4′、蓋枠5′、蓋6′等より構成され
ると共にその底部には所定の表面形状を持つたイ
ンバート10が設けられている。このマンホール
9はポンプ室1(例えば1500mm)に対して小径
(例えば900mm)でかつ高さも小さく構成されてい
る。11は所定の内径と長さとを持つた連通管で
あつて、所定の勾配を保つて前記ポンプ室1とマ
ンホール9の下部を相互に連通している。12は
流入管であつて、その端部はマンホール9に取付
け固定されている。次に13はマンホール9の底
部のインバート10からマンホール9の内周壁の
一部に傾斜して掛渡されたスクリーンであつて、
流入管12よりマンホール9に流入した流水が更
に連通管11に流出する場所に取付けられてお
り、これによつて流水の中に混入された全てのゴ
ミを目詰りすることなく効率良く除去し得る如く

14にカゴ状のスクリーン13を取付けて構成す
ることも可能である。更にこのスクリーン13は
第6図に示す如く、インバート10の中央部に垂
直に起立し、流水を通過させると共に量の多い場
合には上端をあふれて通過させることも可能であ
る。本発明に係る除塵マンホール付ポンプ室は上
述の如く、ポンプ室に隣接してマンホールを埋設
し、両者を連通管で連結すると共にマンホールに
流出管を取付け、更にマンホールの所定位置にス
クリーンを取付けて構成したので、ポンプ室に流
入する流水を全てマンホールを通過せしめ、かつ
このマンホールに於いて流水内に混入されたゴミ
を全て除去することが出来、これによつてゴミが
ポンプ室の底部に堆積されたり、或はポンプの故
障の原因になることを防止出来、しかもスクリー
ンはマンホール内に設けたので、ゴミの除去作
業、スクリーンの取替等のメンテナンスが極めて
