方に一端部が係合し他端部にネジ部を有するアジ
ヤストスクリユーと、このアジヤストスクリユー
のネジ部に一端部が螺合し外周にラチエツトホイ
ールが形成されたアジヤストロツドと、このアジ
ヤストロツドの他端部に一端部が回転自在に嵌合
し他端部が前記一対のブレーキシユーの他方に係
合するシユー係合ピンと、前記一対のブレーキシ
ユーの移動量に応じて回動可能に支持され前記ラ
チエツトホイールに係合するアジヤストレバーと
、を備え、ブレーキを作動させることにより前記
アジヤストレバーの回動を介して前記ラチエツト
ホイールを回転させて前記ブレーキシユーの位置
を調整できるドラムブレーキのオートアジヤスト
機構において、前記アジヤストレバーを形状記憶
合金により形成し、所定温度を越えたときはアジ
ヤストレバーが前記ラチエツトホイールから外れ
てこのラチエツトホイールの近傍に位置するよう
にしたことを特徴とするドラムブレーキのオート
