When petroleum crude oil or coal tar is distilled, the oil with the lowest boiling point is distilled out in order, and finally, when the temperature reaches around 350°C, there is no more distillate oil left in the pot. If you pour it out of the pot while it's hot and let it cool, it will solidify like coal. The main components are different between petroleum-based and coal-based, but both are mixtures of hydrocarbons with large molecules, mixed with some carbon particles and ash. Petroleum crude oil has a small amount of pitch (petroleum pitch), but coal tar has 55% to 60% of it converted to pitch (tar pitch). Depending on the softening temperature, there are different types such as soft pitch, medium pitch, and hard pitch.

This prior art is an invention in which petroleum pitch is shredded to obtain pitch pieces, and the pitch pieces are mixed and stirred with sawdust, rice hulls, etc., and used as fuel.

Therefore, the above-mentioned prior art requires large-scale equipment for shredding the petroleum pitch. That is, solid pitch is hard like coal, and it is not easy to crush it into pieces. Furthermore, the task of mixing the thus-shredded pitchi pieces with sawdust, rice hulls, etc. was accompanied by considerable difficulty. Furthermore, the obtained fuel was difficult to burn and had poor combustion efficiency. In other words, pitch chips and sawdust or rice hulls, etc. have different specific gravity, and even if a sufficient mixture of the two is used as fuel for a combustion furnace with a blower, pitch chips and sawdust or rice hulls, etc. The mixture separated, and sufficient combustion was not possible.

The method for burning pitch according to the present invention which achieves the above object is to add 1 to 5 parts by weight of sawdust to 1 part by weight of heated and melted pitch, mix and stir, and cool the sawdust before it carbonizes. Approximately 0.1-1mm
The method is characterized in that the granular pitch pieces are obtained, and the granular pitch pieces are used as fuel in a combustion furnace equipped with an air blower, and the granular pitch pieces are combusted while blowing air to the granular pitch pieces.

Therefore, the granular pituti pieces obtained by cooling (cooling may also be allowed) are smooth like sawdust itself and do not have so-called stickiness. In other words, the particle size of the granular pitch pieces is approximately 0.1 to 1 mm, and the particle size distribution varies depending on the particle size of the sawdust used.
Approximately 80% of the particles have a particle size of approximately 0.5 mm.

The combustion furnace equipped with an air blower may be any combustion furnace as long as it can effectively send air to the granular pitch pieces of the present invention in the furnace, and for example, the furnace described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 52-53588 can be used.

While the above-mentioned conventional technology attempted to treat hardened pitch like coal in a solid state, the present invention has a basic technology in that it processes pitch by focusing on the fact that pitch has a low melting point and can be easily melted. This shows a difference in ideology.

る作用(効果)である。 That is, carrying out the present invention does not require any special equipment such as a shredding machine, and only a heating pot capable of mixing and stirring is sufficient. Since the pitch is in a molten state, the mixing and stirring operation can be easily performed using a stirring rod or the like. This point is also a completely different action (effect) from that of the prior art.

A medium pitcher obtained from coal tar was placed in a heating pot equipped with mixing and stirring blades, and heated and melted until it became mushy. While mixing and stirring the molten pitch, add ordinary sawdust (only the surface is dry, the particle size is 0.05 to 0.8 mm, and the particle size distribution is 80% of that).
(diameter of about 0.3 mm) was added little by little, and 2 parts by weight of sawdust was added to 1 part by weight of pitch. When the heating was stopped before the sawdust carbonized and the sawdust was left to cool, non-stick granular pitch pieces (each grain is capsule-shaped, particle size is 0.1 to 1 mm, particle size distribution is that 80% of them are about 0.5 mm diameter) )was gotten. When these granular pitch pieces were used as fuel in a combustion furnace equipped with an air blower, which is commonly used in various factories, each granular pitch piece was blown with air by the blower and burned well. was confirmed.

According to the present invention, no special equipment is required to implement the invention, and since various pitches are processed into capsule-shaped pieces as smooth as sawdust itself, handling is easy, and capsule-shaped pieces with an extremely small diameter are processed. Because it is a fragment, it can be burned as fuel with high combustion efficiency.
