の外径より小さく、U字管を凹部6に押しつけた
とき、U字管はノツクアウト7より突出するよう
になつている。そしてU字管の一側づつに一端を
当接させ略L字形をなして対称的に配置させた一
対のチヤツキングレバー11の他端部を埋設させ
る凹部15が穿設されている。そして凹部15の
上部は更に円形孔16が穿設されていて、レバー
ばねたるつるまきばね11aが収容されており、
チヤツキングレバー11の略中央の位置に、本体
5の側部から挿通させたレバーピン13を中心と
して、チヤツキングレバー11の端部が前記U字
管の両端部を圧接する向きに付勢している。U字
管の両端部への圧接力を調整するために、レバー
ピン13の位置よりU字管側に近接した位置にチ
ヤツク調整ピンたる小ねじ14が本体5に形成し

よりU字管4は本体5に保持されて脱落しない。
そこで図示しない移動手段によつて、所定の一対
のパイプ1に対応する位置にユニツトを移動さ
せ、該位置に位置させられたことを例えばマイク
ロスイツチ等で検出して、ユニツト上方よりノツ
クアウトプレート26を図示しない往復動手段で
矢印A方向に下降させ、プレート26を介してノ
ツクアウトばね10の作用に抗して一対の押動ピ
ン8を押下する。押動ピン8が押下するとノツク
アウト7は下降し(第4図a参照)、U字管4を
所望のパイプ1に嵌挿させる。U字管は上方から
均一な力で押下させられるので、傾斜したまま無
理に嵌挿させられることがなく、一対のパイプに

前記凹部6空間へ先端部を臨ませ常時該先端部を
前記凹部6空間内へ進入する向きに付勢され前記
U字管の両端部を圧接するチヤツキングレバー1
