DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a crushed fish feed for aquaculture. In general, when fish feed in water, those in the early stages of growth or with small bodies cannot feed on whole bait fish as live food. In this case, the feed fish is usually administered as shredded meat;
The fish may not be able to consume the administered feed effectively enough, as shredded meat may dissipate in the water, or active ingredients such as water-soluble proteins and water-soluble vitamins in the feed may be eluted into the water. I can't do that. This not only reduces feed efficiency, but also causes deterioration of the fishing ground environment, such as dissipation of oil and contamination of water quality by organic matter. As a countermeasure against this problem, it is known to add natural or synthetic glues or thickeners to the bait as adhesives, but with this method, when the bait is cast into water, it is exposed to a large amount of seawater or fresh water. On the other hand, since these adhesives are placed in an agitated state, they cannot maintain sufficient adhesion and do not necessarily provide a satisfactory effect. The present inventor completed the present invention as a result of intensive research into solutions to the above-mentioned problems using a method different from the conventional way of thinking that emphasizes adhesiveness. The present inventor completed the present invention as a result of intensive research into solutions to the above-mentioned problems using a method different from the conventional way of thinking that emphasizes adhesiveness. The present invention relates to a crushed fish feed for aquaculture in which a specific amount of an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt of alginic acid or the like at a specific concentration is added and mixed. When the bait of the present invention is thrown into seawater,
Forms a water-resistant jelly film on the surface of the feed,
Prevents fine dispersion of shredded meat in water, dissipation of oil, and elution of water-soluble active ingredients. It has been known to mix alginic acid with alkali metal salts, etc. in feed, but
As mentioned later in the comparison, the difference in effectiveness when using alkali metal salts of alginic acid, etc., when mixed with them is that the alkali metal salts of alginic acid, etc. are uniformly contained in the feed. It is thought that because of this, the grains come into contact with calcium ions in the seawater evenly around the grains, resulting in the formation of a thin but effective protective film. When feeding the feed of the present invention to freshwater fish, a jelly film can be formed on the surface of the feed by contacting the feed with a calcium ion solution, such as an aqueous calcium chloride solution, before feeding. Formation of a jelly film can also be achieved by treatment with a salt solution of lead, copper, cadmium, barium, strontium, cobalt, nickel, zinc, manganese, etc., instead of a calcium ion solution. Note that the concentration of the salt solution for this treatment is sufficient if it is about the same as the concentration of calcium ions in seawater, and since the formation of a jelly film occurs extremely quickly, a short contact time is sufficient. In the present invention, the amount of the alkali metal salt or ammonium salt of alginic acid added to the shredded meat feed varies depending on the coarseness of the shredded meat, the water content, the type of fish meat, etc. The amount is 0.05 to 2 parts by weight, preferably 0.1 to 0.5 parts by weight. Adding 2 parts by weight or more may be effective, but it is not economical. In order to produce the feed of the present invention, it is only necessary to prepare an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt or ammonium salt of alginic acid, and add and mix this to feed material fish or crushed fish meat introduced into a crusher. Regarding the concentration of the aqueous solution when adding, it is necessary to consider the influence on the strength of the jelly film formed, workability during mixing, etc. This will vary depending on the temperature, the situation of the feed meat, etc. A range of % is preferred.
If a concentration of less than 0.5 is added, the strength of the jelly film formed will be weak and the effect will not be sufficient.
On the other hand, a liquid with a concentration higher than 5% has a high viscosity, which impedes the workability of mixing it into shredded meat. The amount of the aqueous solution added is desirably 5 parts by weight or more per 100 parts by weight of the feed in order to achieve uniform mixing. In the feed of the present invention, since contact with calcium ions occurs first on the surface of the feed, a jelly film is also formed on the surface of the feed, which is extremely effective for the purpose of dispersing crushed meat, dissipating oil, etc. Elution of the active ingredient can be prevented. In particular, when the bait of the present invention is cast into seawater, a jelly film is naturally and quickly formed by the calcium ions dissolved in the seawater, so it achieves the above objectives very effectively. be able to. In producing the feed of the present invention, water-soluble nutrients such as chlorella, garlic, and vitamins are added to a crusher together with feed raw material fish or crushed fish meat and an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt or ammonium salt of alginic acid. When mixed with water-soluble nutrients, a feed enriched with these water-soluble nutrients can be obtained, and in this case, the effect of inhibiting elution of the added water-soluble nutrients is also achieved. Examples and comparative examples of the present invention are shown below. Examples and Comparative Examples A 1.5% by weight aqueous solution of sodium alginate was prepared. 100 kg of thawed feed fish (mackerel) was put into the hopper of a shredded meat manufacturing machine, 7 kg of the above sodium alginate aqueous solution was evenly added thereto, the hopper size of the shredded meat was set to 10 mm, and the manufacturing machine was operated to produce the shredded meat of the present invention. did. In addition, 100 kg of the same thawed feed fish was crushed while adding 200 g of sodium alginate to produce crushed meat as a comparative example. Additive-free shredded meat was also produced by shredding thawed feed fish without using sodium alginate. A gutter is installed at the exit of the manufacturing machine, and seawater is poured into the gutter.
The shredded meat that falls from the production machine is poured into seawater into the town's aquaculture small area using a gutter and then thrown for bait. In the case of shredded meat to which no sodium alginate aqueous solution was added, the feed administered into the small portion was considerably dispersed, and the seawater was considerably colored by the blood of the meat. When sodium alginate was added as is without making it into an aqueous solution, the dispersion of the feed in the small portion was considerably reduced and less coloring was observed even when twice the amount was used. However, in the case of the feed of this example, the blood and water completely disappeared, the feed was administered in the same size as the crushed meat, and almost no dispersion was observed. A comparison of the degree of leakage of oil and water-soluble components into seawater for the above three types of shredded meat is shown in the table below, and a remarkable effect of preventing oil and water-soluble components from leaking was observed. When the shredded meat was poured by hand, the effect of preventing the eluted components from flowing out was somewhat inferior to that of the pouring method using the gutter described above, but the effects as shown in the table were still obtained. 【table】
