Conventional technology Conventionally, when pests that attack leaf tobacco (e.g., the tobacco leaf beetle) occur on leaf tobacco, measures such as using chemicals, heat treatment, and low-temperature treatment have been taken; Due to the need to eliminate negative effects as much as possible,
It was not possible to provide sufficient control to completely exterminate or kill pests at each stage, and this naturally had its limits.

Moreover, in recent years, leaf tobacco pests have appeared in the tobacco leaf storage rooms of tobacco cultivators in many regions, and there have been an increasing number of cases in which dried tobacco becomes infested with leaf tobacco pests. Measures have been taken to exterminate adult insects, such as cleaning storage rooms, preventing eggs from being laid on dried leaf tobacco, and using pheromones, but no satisfactory results have been achieved.

Means for Solving the Problems To achieve the above object, the tobacco leaf storage method of the present invention involves placing leaf tobacco in an air-permeable inner bag, and storing it together with an oxygen absorber in a gas-impermeable outer bag in an airtight manner. A method for storing leaf tobacco in which the air-permeable inner bag is made of a thin paper or nonwoven fabric-like fiber sheet, for example, a gas-permeable surface layer made of paper;
and a cheesecloth-like laminate laminated on the back side thereof, such as a laminate of plastic film cheesecloth.

Effect According to the present invention, when storing leaf tobacco,
The product is placed in a breathable inner bag and then stored in a gas-impermeable outer bag together with an oxygen scavenger under airtight sealing, so that while stored under this condition, the air in the outer bag and inner bag is isolated from the outside air. By deoxidizing with an oxygen scavenger and creating an anoxic or almost anoxic environment, pest insects such as the leaf tobacco moth and tobacco leaf beetle, as well as their pupae, larvae, and eggs, are completely destroyed in a short period of time. It will perish.

In this storage, the combined use of the outer bag and inner bag contributes to storing the leaf tobacco by simply bringing the leaf tobacco storage environment to an oxygen-free or almost oxygen-free state. That is, the outer bag is gas-impermeable and can easily and completely shut off the internal air from the outside by an appropriate means such as airtightly sealing its opening with a suitable sealing device, and the inner bag is made of thin paper or non-woven fabric. It consists of a front layer made of a fiber sheet and a laminate like cheesecloth laminated on the back side of this, and can be closed as easily as a normal bag by tying the opening with a string or other means, and it can also be ruptured. In addition to being excellent in strength, it avoids damage to the outer bag as a gas barrier due to direct contact with leaf petioles of leaf tobacco, and does not damage the gas impermeability of the outer bag when storing leaf tobacco.
Leaf tobacco can be stored with pest control in an oxygen-free or almost oxygen-free environment by simply packaging the leaf tobacco with an oxygen absorber using an outer bag.

Effects of the Invention Thus, according to the present invention, the leaf tobacco stored in the inner bag inside the outer bag can be safely and safely stored under the physical measures of being stored in an oxygen-free or almost oxygen-free atmosphere. It is guaranteed that pests will be completely controlled without compromising quality and that this can be achieved easily.

The breathable inner bag 1 is made of a gas-permeable surface layer 1a made of a thin paper or non-woven fiber sheet, such as paper, and a layer laminated on the back side of the gas-permeable surface layer 1a, such as Nisseki Warif (trade name: Nisseki Goju Products). A laminate of plastic film cheesecloth laminate 1b such as polyethylene net (a type of cheesecloth made by Co., Ltd.) can be used, and the oxygen absorber 2 is an appropriate one, such as the product name Ageless made by Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Ltd. Alternatively, Vitalon, a trade name manufactured by Toagosei Co., Ltd., can be used, and the gas-impermeable outer bag 3 can be made of, for example, a three-layer laminate of nylon film, EVAL (brand name of Kuraray Co., Ltd.) film, and polyethylene film. The thickness of the above nylon film, EVAL film and polyethylene film is approximately 10μ, approximately 13μ,
It can be about 25μ. The outer bag 3 is made from this laminate with the nylon film serving as the outer layer. Reference numeral 4 indicates a cloth edging tape sewn to the left and right ear portions of the inner bag 1, and reference numeral 5 indicates a string pushed through the sleeve-shaped portion 6 at the opening of the inner bag 1.

Leaf tobacco is placed in the breathable inner bag 1, the opening of the inner bag 1 is tied and closed with a string 5, and the leaf tobacco-filled breathable inner bag 1 is placed together with the oxygen absorber 2 in the gas-impermeable outer bag 3.
The opening of the outer bag 3 is airtightly sealed with a suitable means, for example, a clip 7 as shown in FIG. 4, and stored. The clips 7 shown in FIG. 4 as an example of means for closing the mouth of the outer bag 3 include as constituent elements tubular bodies 8 each having a C-shaped cross section, which are removably fitted together by a snap action. , which is a combination of a first clip segment 7a and a second clip segment 7b made of plastic.

Approximately 20 kg of rotten leaf tobacco was placed in the outer bag 3 according to the previous example, which has dimensions of 120 cm x 75 cm, together with approximately 200 g of Ageless (Z2000A type) or Vitalon (LD10000 type), and under the measures of the same example. When I put it in storage, the number of surveys was 225 before storage.
90% of the tobacco beetle larvae that were shaken off from the test leaf tobacco died after 7 days of storage, and 100% died after the 13th day.
was observed to have died. In addition, it was observed that the larvae of the tobacco beetle have higher hypoxic tolerance than other stages of the tobacco beetle and each stage of the tobacco beetle moth. This test result shows that by storing leaf tobacco infested with leaf tobacco pests, such as the leaf tobacco pest moth and tobacco leaf beetle, in an oxygen-free environment for 7 to 15 days according to the method of the present invention, storage pests can be effectively controlled. It is recognized that

In the present invention, whether or not the air inside the outer bag 3 is in an oxygen-free state can be determined by making the outer bag 3 transparent and using a visible oxygen detector, such as a product name manufactured by Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Ltd. Ageless Eye or Toagosei Co., Ltd.'s product name Vitalon oxygen detector is sealed in each inner bag containing leaf tobacco, and the color of the detector changes (pink when the oxygen concentration is 0.1% or less, pink when the oxygen concentration is 0.5% or more). reversibly changes to blue) can be easily recognized by visual inspection.
