However, the structure (1) is difficult to manufacture because it is necessary to provide a cylindrical insulator extending perpendicularly to the center of the main insulator. In addition, since this cylindrical insulator is also used as a support insulator, there is a problem in terms of strength when the insulator is manufactured integrally using a splicing method. Furthermore, in this structure, since the arrester is located in the center of the main insulator, it is necessary to devise a connection between the arrester and the charging side electrode.

Next, in the structure (2) above, the main insulator itself becomes considerably large, which poses problems in terms of weight and cost. Furthermore, since the fuse tube and the arrester are arranged in parallel inside the main body insulator, the structure becomes complicated due to the provision of insulating partition walls, etc., and a wasted space is required. Furthermore, from the point of view of sealing the arrester, such a configuration has problems in sealing the lower opening, and is not very convenient in practice.

In addition, in the structure (3) above, the main body insulator is deformed, so not only does it have the same sealing problem as the structure (2) above, but the connection to the charging side electrode of the arrester is a little complicated, which reduces workability. There are also problems in the manufacturing of the main insulator.

This invention was made in order to solve the above problems, and the upper part of the cylindrical main body insulator in the conventional cylindrical cutout is slightly extended to form an arrester housing part, and the arrester is placed in the housing part. By connecting the upper electrode provided in the fuse cylinder storage part to the charging side electrode of the arrester, it is possible to make it more compact, and also to make the connection to the charging side electrode of the arrester easy and simple. Along with the rubber molded cone in which the arrester is embedded, it is removable from the ground side electrode and main body insulator, making it easy to replace the arrester and the elements within it.
Furthermore, the object is to provide a cylindrical cutout with a built-in arrester that can be made aesthetically pleasing.

Now, the cylindrical cutout configured as described above is a non-linear resistance element 3 that has excellent non-continuous flow properties, such as a zinc oxide element, even if a lightning surge enters the cutout.
3, the discharge is discharged to the ground via the mounting bracket 21 and the cross arm, which not only protects the cutout itself from damage but also protects power distribution equipment such as a transformer connected via the load side lead wire 18 of the cutout from lightning surges. .

In addition, since the cylindrical cutout configured as described above has a structure in which the upper part of the main body insulator of a conventional cutout is slightly extended, there is no problem with the form, and there is no need to worry about damaging the function and structure of a conventional cutout. In addition, the charging side electrode 32 of the arrester and the power supply side lead wire electrode part can be easily shared, the connection to the charging side electrode 32 can be simplified, and workability is greatly improved. Further, if the upper end of the main body insulator 1 is closed with the molded cone 26 in which the ground wire 25 is embedded as in this embodiment, the overall aesthetic appearance is excellent.

In addition, in the cylindrical cut-out configured as described above, the ground wire 25 can be removed from the ground side electrode 28 and the main insulator 1 together with the rubber mold cone 26, and the arrester also connects its charging side electrode 32 to the connecting bolt. The intermediate electrode 34 and the charging side electrode 32 can be taken out from the arrester housing 3 by removing the intermediate electrode 34 and the charging side electrode 32.
By removing the non-linear resistance element 33 from the insulating tube 35, the non-linear resistance element 33 can be taken out from inside the insulating tube 35, so that the arrester and the elements therein can be easily replaced.

Furthermore, another example in which the arrester of the above embodiment is provided with a gap will be explained with reference to FIG. 3
6 and 37 are arranged opposite to each other at both ends of the annular insulating spacer 38. Therefore, in this embodiment, a non-following current characteristic is reliably obtained, and there is no risk of overcurrent even if the mounting bracket 21 is touched. In this embodiment, the series gap is provided on the ground side, but it may be provided on the charging side.
