BACKGROUND ART It is known as a flow molding method that a plastic material is sulfated in a line from a nozzle, placed in a predetermined pattern on a lower die of a press molding machine, and press-molded. However, in the conventional flow molding method, the nozzle part moves like a plotter to extrude and feed the plastic material to the press molding machine as desired, which has a fatal flaw that it takes time to feed the plastic material. There was also a drawback that a weld line was formed due to line-to-line compression when the plastic materials that were bent and supplied were butted against each other. Furthermore, it has been impossible to supply the plastic material 1 in a continuous plate shape having the optimum planar wide and narrow widths corresponding to the press-formed products as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and it is possible to supply a plastic material to a press molding machine in the form of a continuous flat plate with a width that can be widened or narrowed according to the shape of the molded product, thereby shortening the supply time of the plastic material. To provide a press molding method for a plastic material that can be measured and smoothly filled into a mold without forming a weld line due to butt of the plastic material, and can yield a good molded product with high productivity.

A mold 3 that can be opened and closed of a press molding machine 2 with a predetermined output
A plastic material supply device 4 is installed to freely flow out and supply plastic materials such as composite resin materials and composite rubber materials mixed with thermoplastic or thermosetting resin materials, rubber materials, fibers, etc. into a predetermined flat plate shape. are doing. As shown in FIG. 3, the plastic material supply device 4 supplies the plastic material to an extrusion device 6 equipped with a hopper 5 and a heating melter (not shown) such as a band heater around a screw (not shown). It is formed by disposing a material outflow device 7 etc. that flows out and supplies the material in a plate shape. The material outflow device 7 is a cylindrical cylinder with a predetermined wide rectangular cross section that is the same as or slightly narrower than the width of the mold 3, with a shutoff valve 8 disposed in the middle and a connecting pipe 9 that is flexible and expandable. The plastic material pushed into the material outflow device 7 is forced forward by the piston pressing portion 10. At the front of this wide rectangular cross-sectional material discharge device 7, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, there are many narrow disk-shaped nozzle bodies 12 with nozzle holes 11 opened in the center. The connected cylindrical nozzle parts 13 are fitted, and a tooth-shaped driven part 14 is provided on the upper part of each disc-shaped nozzle body 12. With such an opening/closing drive device 16, each nozzle body 12 can be swinged open and closed via a rack and pinion mechanism, etc., and a desired width of plastic material can freely flow out from an outlet 17 at the front end. Further, a sliding rail 18 is provided at the bottom of the material outflow device 7, and the material outflow device 7 can be freely moved back and forth a predetermined distance with respect to the press forming machine 2 by a reciprocating drive device 19 such as an electric servo motor. The plastic material can be appropriately fed into the open lower mold 20 of the mold 3 of the machine 2 in the form of a flat plate.

When the plastic material is supplied to the press molding machine 2, the plastic material mixed with a predetermined filler and the like is loaded into the hopper 5, extruded by the extrusion device 6, and filled into the material outflow device 7. Then, the reciprocating drive device 19 is driven to move the material outflow device 7 to a predetermined position of the lower mold 20 of the open mold 3 of the press molding machine 2, and open and close the predetermined nozzle body 12 according to a predetermined pattern. The reciprocating drive device 1 rotates with the drive device 16 to open the nozzle hole 11 to a predetermined width, and operates the piston pressing portion 10 of the material outflow device 7.
9 is driven at a predetermined speed and has a predetermined width.
3, the plastic material is poured out onto the lower mold 20. By operating the above-mentioned apparatus appropriately under program control or the like, it is possible to easily obtain a pattern of material supply that is not uniform in width as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. In addition, if the specifications of the opening degree of the nozzle part, the opening/closing width, the moving speed of the material outflow device, and the extrusion speed of the piston pressing part are controlled in various programs by computer processing, various appropriate patterns of plastic materials can be produced. It is capable of supplying outflow. In particular, in this example, since the nozzle part is moved one-dimensionally, it is easy to create a program and control the device, and the plastic material can be supplied in a short time. The formation of weld lines due to such butting of plastic materials does not occur.

Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the plastic material was flowed out and supplied without going through the metering extrusion device, but it is also possible to connect a metering extrusion device to the material outflow device to extrude a predetermined amount of the plastic material. In addition, in the above embodiment, the nozzle part is connected to a large number of nozzle bodies, and each nozzle body can be opened and closed to supply a predetermined width of plastic material.
A plugging material can be slid in the nozzle hole so that it can be opened and closed, or a double door or a double shutter type door can be provided at the front end of the nozzle part, so that a desired width of plastic material can be supplied.

As described above, in the present invention, the plastic material can be supplied to the press molding machine in a short time in a continuous flat plate shape with a width that can be widened or narrowed as appropriate depending on the shape of the molded product, and it can flow smoothly into the mold. Not only can it be filled, but also productivity can be improved. Also,
Since the plastic material can be flowed out and supplied in one plane without forming weld lines due to butting, it is possible to obtain a molded product with uniform strength and good quality.
