Abstract
PURPOSE:To accelerate the write/read of data by independently providing the plural sets of head assembly which can be controlled along a rotating direction around the circumference of a rotating body. CONSTITUTION:The plural sets of the head assembly 21-26 including moval mechanisms are loaded by keeping intervals along the rotating direction around the circumference of the rotating body 1. A central shaft C rotates in an A or a B direction according to the operation command of the write/read and the head assemblies 21-26 can respectively trace complying tracks. The input/ output of the head assemblies 21-26 are respectively connected with a write/ read amplifier in parallel and can be processed as a parallel signal. Therefore the six sets of signal can be processed at the same time as a figure shows, for example, and the time required for processing concerning with the write/read can be reduced nearly one sixth. As the head assemblies 21-26 are uniformly arranged around the circumference of the rotating body 1, electric circuits concerning with the write/read can be loaded near the respective head assemblies 21-26.
