B. Prior art An electric nipper that continuously performs cutting operations using a motor is as described in Utility Application No. 1053 of 1983 submitted by the same applicant. Needless to say, it is extremely useful for preventing hand and neck fatigue and performing efficient cutting work during assembly line work in factories.

C. Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the electric nipper described above is configured so that the cutting operation is stopped when the motor circuit is opened. In other words, when the pressure on the switch member is released, the motor rotation is cut off and the cutting operation is stopped, so the blade part of the nipper body is not necessarily stopped in the open state, and the motor stop position is , the blade is stopped in any state such as closed, half-open, or open state. Normally, there is a high probability that the stop will occur in a halfway open state.

In other words, the electric nipper described above is extremely effective for simple continuous cutting operations, but
In cases where independent accuracy is required for each cut, it is necessary that the blade remain open and stationary at all times.

D. Means for Solving the Problems Accordingly, in the present invention, a light blocking portion is formed by extending a part of a conversion member that is connected to the movable handle of the nipper body and converts the rotational motion of the motor into reciprocating linear motion. On the other hand, an optical sensor for controlling opening and closing of the motor circuit is attached to the switch member, and the circuit is configured to be closed by the interruption of the optical sensor and opened by conduction, and the conduction and interruption effects are This is performed by the light blocking part of the conversion member, and furthermore, this blocking action is always performed when the switch member is pressed, while the opening action is performed by the blade part on the nipper main body side when the switch member is released. The present invention proposes a switch mechanism in which the relative position of the light blocking section and the optical sensor is adjusted so that the switching is performed only in the open state.

This switch member 10 is attached with an optical sensor 13 consisting of a light emitting part 13a and a light receiving part 13b, and when the switch member 10 is rotated and closed around a shaft 11 (counterclockwise direction in FIG. 1) Regardless of the position of the member 6, when the light blocking section 6c intervenes between the light emitting section 13a and the light receiving section 13b of the optical sensor 13 and blocks the light, the power supply circuit to the motor 14 is closed. On the other hand, the switch member 10 is opened by the elasticity of the spring 12,

The rotational movement of the motor 14 is controlled by a deceleration mechanism 15.
The rotating disk 16 is rotated through the eccentric protrusion 1
7 is loosely fitted into the lateral groove 9 of the conversion member 6, and the sliding edges 6b, 6b on both sides of the converting member 6 are loosely fitted into the sliding grooves 8, 8 of the frame 5, so that the disc 16 The rotational motion is converted into a reciprocating linear motion of the conversion member 6 along the sliding grooves 8, 8, and this operation is converted into an opening/closing operation of the blade portion 2 via the handle portion 4.

Reference numeral 18 in the figure is an adjustment screw for adjusting the closed position of the blade parts 2, 2', and is used to regulate the closed position of the blade part 2. For this purpose, the width of the horizontal groove 9 is set at the center. It is formed slightly wider to prevent excessive tightening between the blade parts 2 and 2'.

F. Effect In the nipper with the above-described structure and built-in mechanism, when the switch member 10 is pressed and closed, the optical sensor 13 is also rotated together and becomes in a state where the light blocking part 6c is sandwiched, so that the optical sensor 13 becomes conductive. As a result, the circuit of the motor 14 is closed, the motor 14 rotates, the rotating disk 16 rotates via the deceleration mechanism 15, and the eccentric protrusion 17 also rotates.

The conversion member 6 generates a reciprocating linear movement due to the relationship with the sliding grooves 8, 8 into which the locking grooves 6 and 6b are loosely fitted.
By operating the handle 4 connected to a, the blade 2 is opened and closed relative to the blade 2'.

Next, if the pressing force on the switch member 10 is released,
The member 10 is stopped from rotating at a certain angle clockwise in FIG. 1 by the elasticity of the spring 12. In this state, the light blocking portion 6c of the conversion member 6 is moved to the leftmost position in FIG.
In order to allow conduction through the handle 4, the motor 14 is stopped only when the blade part 2 is in the most open state, and the blade parts 2, 2' are always in the open state when stopped.

G. Effects of the Invention As described above, by being equipped with the switch mechanism of the present invention, the blade part of the electric nipper can always be held in the open state when stopped, so that independent cutting operations can be performed every time. This makes it possible to perform accurate and smooth cutting, and in combination with continuous cutting work, this contributes to practical use, which is extremely significant.
