Abstract

PURPOSE:To confirm the position and spread of a sound field in real time and to measure sound volume at an optional position by converting coordinate data on a matrix and superposing them on image data. CONSTITUTION:A video signal from a TV camera 2 is A/D-converted 6 and stored in a memory 7, and a timing signal is separated and supplied as a clock signal to an address counter 9. Then the video signal is sent to a mixing circuit 11 after being stored by one frame. Sound signals from microphones 31-3n, on the other hand, are supplied to an interpolation processor 15 through a multiplexer 12 and an A/D converter 13 and horizontal and vertical spatial position signals are interpolated for the sound signals from the matrix-shaped microphone 3, written in a sound field memory 16, and read out by standard scanning, and they are converted 17 into artificial chrominance components, which are sent to the circuit 11. The signals mixed by the circuit 11 are supplied to a TV monitor 5 after D/A conversion 18.
