Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the whole flowmeter more small in size by extending 1st and 2nd straight pipe parts where fluid to be measured flows in the direction of piping and arranging those straight pipe parts compactly in a small space nearby the piping. CONSTITUTION:The mass flowmeter has a manifold 5 where a sensor tube 4 is connected and fixed between an upstream-side intake pipe 2 and a downstream-side outlet pipe 3. The sensor tube 4 consists of the 1st straight pipe part 4a which extends in the piping direction of the outlet pipe 3, the 2nd straight pipe part 4b arranged in parallel to the 1st straight pipe part 4a, and a duct 4c connecting the 1st straight pipe part 4a and 2nd straight pipe part 4b. The straight pipe parts 4a and 4b which are arranged in parallel are positioned above the outlet pipe 3 and fixed to the manifold 5 on both sides of the outlet pipe 3 in parallel to the outlet pipe 3. Therefore, the sensor tube 4 does not project large from the piping installation space, so the flowmeter is reduced more in size on the whole.
