Focusing on the fact that the heat generated by spiked tires when running changes depending on the snow and ice conditions on the road,
It is characterized by an automatic adjustment mechanism for the protruding state of the spike pins depending on the frozen or snowy road conditions. That is, the spiked tire of the present invention is provided with a spike pin that can freely appear and retract on the ground contact surface of the tire body, and a guide pin that supports and guides the spike pin, and a distance between the heads of these spike pins and the head of the guide pin is set. A wavy helical or coiled actuating member made of a shape memory alloy that expands and contracts into a memorized shape with temperature is exposed and connected to the surface of the spike pin head, and a center portion is cut out between the flange portions of these spike pins and the guide pin. It is characterized by a mechanism that can be deformed into an operating position where the spike pin is held in a protruding state and a non-operating position where the spike pin is held in a retracted state by inserting a plate spring, a disc spring, or a coil spring.

To explain the present invention based on the drawings, FIG. 1 shows that at low temperatures, the unidirectional shape memory alloy 8 is in a plastic state, and the bidirectional shape memory alloy 8 is in an elongated state, causing a spring. The spike pin 3 is pushed up by the force of 7, and is shown in a state where it protrudes from the surface of the tire 1.

FIG. 2 shows that at high temperatures, the unidirectional or bidirectional shape memory alloy 8 is in a contracted state, so the spring 8 is crushed, and the spike pin 3 is sunk below the surface of the tire 1.

1 Inside the tire body, a spike pin that can freely protrude and retract from the ground contact surface and a guide pin that supports and guides the spike pin are arranged, and the space between the spike pin head and the guide pin head is transformed into a memorized shape by temperature. The actuating member made of a shape memory alloy is exposed and connected to the surface of the spike pin head, and furthermore, the flanges provided on the spike pin and the guide pin are formed with flat support surfaces facing each other, and a spring is inserted between both support surfaces. A spike tire characterized by having a mechanism that can be inserted into an operating position to hold the spike pin in a protruding state and a non-operating position in which the spike pin is held in a retracted state.
