Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect surely that a piston reaches a predermined position by providing a permanent magnet on the outer periphery of the piston and a Hall element on the outer periphery of a cylinder tube. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 3 made with magnetic poles of counter polarity in its both end surfaces in the moving direction of a piston 2 is fixed on the outer periphery of the piston 2, and a sensor main body 5 accomodating a Hall element 6 is attached on the outer peripheral surface of a cylinder tube 1, thereby as the permanent magnet 3 is moved within a narrow range passing around the center of the Hall element 6, the detecting signal is obtained, so that the position of the piston 2 can be detected surely without any misoperation.
