Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the parallel connection of an automatic answering telephone and a telecontrol device, by setting a response time for the incoming signal of the telecontrol device later than that of the automatic answering telephone. CONSTITUTION:The automatic answering telephone 3 and the telecontrol device 4 are connected in parallel to a telephone line 2 from an exchange 1 in a customer. When the incoming signal arrives, the automatic answering telephone 3 responds prior to the telecontrol device 4 since the response time of the telecontrol device 4 is set later than that of the automatic answering telephone 3, and the telephone line 2 is closed, then it is captured. By inputting a prescribed PB signal, a CPU9 closes the telephone line 2, and sends an intermittent signal of 400Hz from a response tone delivering circuit 7 to the automatic answering telephone 3. The automatic answering telephone 3 releases the telephone line 2. The telecontrol device 4 receives the PB signal from a caller hereafter, and performs a prescribed operation.
