いて浮動磁気ヘツドのスライダーの揚力と支持バ
ネのバネ圧とが平衡し浮動磁気ヘツドは磁性膜面
より一定の間隔で浮上を続け、駆動機構によつて

動磁気ヘツドと、対応する磁性膜との機械的関係
は極めて不安定であり浮動磁気ヘツドと磁性膜と
の間隔が浮動磁気ヘツドが完全浮上しても0.3
〔μm〕程度と僅少間隔であるために、浮動磁気ヘ
ツドの不安定な飛翔形態によつて浮動磁気ヘツド
