組立てる場合には他の工程への影響が大となり、
又ニツプルが太径になる程体力を必要とし、作業
者が限定されるという難点があり、又パイプレン
チでは締付け工合が作業者によつて相違し品質が
安定せず、更には狭い場所での使用が困難になる
という欠点があつた。

の一端内部が中央丸孔部よりも細径の方形に形成
され回転軸2の先端部の嵌入孔5となされ、他端
内部は中央部より太径の丸形に形成され後述する
ニツプルの螺入孔6となされている。回転軸2の
先端部は四角柱状に形成され、ソケツト4の嵌入
孔5に対しては、該嵌入孔5に貫設されたピン孔
7とこれに対応して回転軸2の先端部に貫設され
たピン挿入孔8とを位置合せし、ピン9を挿入す
ると共にゴムリング10を予めソケツト4の一端
外周面に穿設されたゴムリング10の嵌着溝11
に嵌着せしめることにより回転軸2にソケツト4
の一端が着脱自在に取付けられている。又ソケツ
ト4の他端にはニツプル12の一方の螺子部13
に螺合可能な螺子部15が設けられ、該螺子部1
5は第4図に示す如く螺子の螺旋方向等間隔に複
数箇所垂直方向の切欠き16が設けられ、該切欠
き16の部分では螺子山が略消滅している。該螺
子部15の奥には孔径の差によつて形成された当
座17が設けられ、ニツプル12の螺子部13を
螺入した際に第2図に示す如く該螺子部13の先
端が螺子部15と螺合せず且つ所定の深さ以上に
螺入しないようになされている。尚18はガイド
孔である。

太径のニツプルであつても造作なく螺合締付けが
出来しかもトルクが一定に設定されるので締付け
度合の作業者によるバラツキがなく又狭い場所で
の使用も可能となり利用範囲の拡大を図ることが
できる。
